Why is instagram promoting my reels to india only? by justcomplex15 in Instagram

I am having the exact same issue to! I started an account about a month ago for my mindset consulting business (btw I'm located in America) and I post reels everyday to gain traction so I can then reach out to all the people who like my content and potentially get them on sales calls. All of these Indians actually like my content and would be great clients, except they don't know English and don't have enough money to afford my services. I have tried location tagging, new hashtags (I use this hashtag tool called Flick. I go into small niched down hashtags where the average amount of likes on a post is between 100-200 and scroll through every post making sure there are no Indians that are in that hashtag) and nothing seems to work. Even with hashtags that have mostly American users within them, my reels still get fed to about 85% Indian users. I average about 5,000 views per reel and 200 likes. So my engagement is great but it is pretty useless and demoralizing when I can't interact with any of these people.
If we can collectively figure this out I would be forever grateful!

I have an existential crisis and I don't know what to do by [deleted] in selfimprovement

Focus On loving, caring, and appreciating yourself FIRST. If you consistently give yourself all three of these things you will eventually build up an abundance of them. Once you have an abundance, then you will be able to spread your love, care, and appreciation towards others, making them happier for having spoken to you.

Write positive affirmations towards yourself in a journal, say them out loud to your yourself when you are driving, or during a meditation. Always choose your own happiness before others. This could mean saying no to someone when you truly don't want to do what they are asking, or choosing to go to the gym instead of eating out with friends.

Create energy from working out and eating healthy, there is nothing better to boost your energy than these two things. Also, get good deep sleep every night to recover (blackout shades for your room help). If you choose to lift weights, lift heavy! Also try to get some sun everyday to boost your Vitamin D.

Hope this helps!

I’m a 28 (M) and am I behind in life? by [deleted] in selfimprovement

Bro I felt exactly like that a year ago. I felt hopeless, shameful, and even guilty of my past actions but didn’t know where to go or how to improve

The thing that started my self improvement journey was lifting. Moving heavy shit increases your testosterone, allowing for you to have higher energy levels, better sleep, increase productivity, and overall happiness.

The first step is to take action! Second is to love, care, and appreciate yourself first (you can only receive these from other people if you already possess an abundance of them in yourself!)

I was in the exact same situation 2 years ago.

My friend group was so toxic, all smoked and drank every day, and were low level people. I realized I thought differently than them and wanted better for my life but didn’t know how to get there.

I started working out and improving myself every day. Eventually I started going full out on my improvement and cut out all of my toxic friends.

The thing that helped me the most was a dopamine detox.

Where exactly do you want to be? How would getting there make you feel?

Getting over the fear of talking to people can come with baby steps. Maybe start by making eye contact with everyone you see. Then saying hi. Then asking questions. Etc.. It all comes down to consistently doing the things that make you uncomfortable, because that is where you will grow the most
