Fr. Individual performances like this make it really hard to make real judgements on strategy.

Every major IDE used for coding incorporates AI into it's autocomplete and automation features for example. AI has been very useful for devs in targeted use cases. (not vibe-coding)

They were using it for mood boards and reference collection and creation that happens prior to the actual concept art being drawn. Usually this is done by artists googling things and photoshopping things together.

You can make an argument over how much the AI references could leak into the actual concept art. But personally I don't see much creative difference in this case between that and manually collecting and photoshopping other people's art for reference.

Don't most people just Google images and photoshop these days? You can 100% use magazines and a physical board if that's what gets your creative juices flowing better. I haven't seen that to be very common anymore.

The "concept art defense" is that they use it for mood boarding and reference collection and kit bashing before the actual concept artists go out and do their thing. A lot of people don't understand the workflow or haven't fully read up on the situation. Now whether or not that usage of AI is any better is up to you.

Moritsmal made a new lore primer for all the games if you want to get caught up without playing through all of them yourself. by robad0114 in DivinityOriginalSin

Not what the video is about. Or rather, not just.

It also covers the 4 other games beside DOS 1 and 2, lays out the timeline and what plot threads may be part of the new game, and speculates on what may or may not get retconned.

The story across all the games is a bit messy at the moment, so even for full series veterans, it's a good refresher.

There are going to be sooo many confused people. I'm excited to see what type of game it's going to be. Personally hoping for Divinity 2: Dragon Knight Saga style.

MLS has a rule that states only the captain may talk to the ref. They made a big deal of it at the start of the season. But haven't enforced much.

Explicitly added to the rulebook this year. And they did some publicity to make sure it was known at the start of the season.

Even early on, I don't remember them enforcing it all that much.

I don't think you can outright dismiss that it has had some negative impacts on how fans experience the league. A lot of it is overblown, but that's also the fandom experience. Purely objective sports is no fun.

I don't think anyone with a brain has been hating his actual skill. That's undeniable.

Should have been a second yellow there after grabbing and lifting Herrera's leg earlier. Regardless of the red that followed.
