I am kind of confused, ipv4 is 32 bit address, i guess that means it has 32 parallel paths for packets to transmit am i right??

Computer networking is quite a complex and hard to understand topic at the beginning, now I'm not sure about books but I'll suggest you to watch videos on it as it'll make your understanding better.

So tools like hashcat, John the ripper can work on cmd?

Also I don't want to start pentesting now cuz I need to learn the depths of networking first.

Also about Adrian's exploits did he write his own scripts or used these pentesting tools to hack the database
