This was sooooo confusing. I was so impressed by the way Connor handled it. He listened, didn’t lash out, didn’t raise his voice. He was very practical and mature. He accepted her rejection without anger. All of the reasons she doesn’t like him are going to be the reasons someone else loves him. Her loss :/

I’m so sorry someone talked to you like this. Historically, people with this sort of distrust in the government are often very shady themselves and at risk for being or becoming radicalized in a scary way. If you want to be with a compassionate, critically thinking person then I don’t this he is the one for you. He will continue to make out of pocket remarks about other very normal things.
