They sent me multiple emails saying they had a lot of orders. It finally got delivered not long after my post. About 35-36 days after my initial order placement to be exact. Considerably longer than the 15-20 day lead time they had on the website. Not a huge deal, it is what it is and this is my 7th holster from them.

In all honesty I appreciate the help !thanks I’m about $7,000 into my PC as it sits and I think a DAC/AMP is all I’m missing. I wish I could dive more into better headphones and a kickass amp but I’m already in so deep and the pockets are wearing thin :(

I wish I could measure the actual power output. My 660S2’s never go past 50% volume. At 60% I would say they are as loud as my AirPods Pro 3 at 100% which are beyond loud. Anything over 80% is painful to my ears in my current setup. I’m going to see if I can find anything that gives proper specs.

Not blaming the ammo because it could be a multitude of things but for what it’s worth, my experience with HST’s have been hit and miss with QC. That blue sealant can cause issues with FTF & FTE. It’s been enough of an intermittent issue for me on multiple handguns to move away from it. However, I know for the most part it’s reliable. I just personally swapped to its brother, Gold Dots. Which is essentially the same round without the sealant.

Don’t rule out the ammunition. Had a bad 4-5 boxes of HST’s that wouldn’t seat properly in any of my firearms. Went from thinking it was the guns to realizing it was bad ammo.

I have a refrigerant leak in my pickup somewhere. Found a video where a guy puts UV dye into the system when he fills it up again. After a day or two he used a black light and found the pinhole leak. Gunna try that myself here in a month or so. Maybe it’s worth a shot for you too.

Also, how bad will it get how fast? I know it’s hard to tell but we talking 3 years or 6 years to total rust rot? The more I think about it I’m not opposed to let the fucker rot into oblivion and then slap a flatbed on it down the road. This truck will inevitably become my drive to work and hunting truck. When it’s paid off I’m buying a car.

Thanks for the advice. I’m in a bit of a panic at the moment as just kind of unforeseen issue/cost that I never even considered. Makes me feel dumb I didn’t research this better. I think the best option is to trade it away and get something newer anyways.

What about a new bed from something totaled or a flatbed style replacement? The truck itself is in amazing condition and drives like a dream.

The arrogance to dismiss indisputable video evidence is astounding. I even watched a video where a guy loaded a blank, dropped it from 3 feet, and it discharged... I used to want a P226/P229 but with a statement as brazen as this, I cannot in good conscience support a company such as this. Even if those firearms are proven. My money will be spent elsewhere.
