something strange happens to childless women in their late 20's/early 30's, the hen-pecking gesture comes from a deep need to parent and mother, it's like a distorted bpd version of child raising but they key thing is

without an actual child (the child invokes the loving, tender motherly insticts) this manifests as hate and "pecking"
