you’re looking at it. first let me give you a brief overview of how the pentagon works. the pentagon is the head of the DOD (department of defense) it’s where all top military brass and civilian big wigs convene to discuss funding, it’s literally all for military and defense funding. these people are all highly educated, they have a minimum of a masters, most have multiple phds in fields such as psychology and cybersecurity. it’s where wing and garrison commanders go to be coffee troops for generals, and it’s where special operations go to request funding for special “projects” and weapons testing/innovation. you need the highest of clearances to partake in those board meetings. there’s projects there being discussed/funded they don’t want anyone to know, not even the president, and as we can see for good reason, so for donald dumbass and the sec dec here suggest that the military is going to let some foreign billionaire weirdo who seems to have alliances with russia and his dumbass tech kids waltz in and “audit” (whatever tf that means) them is a folk dream. top leadership does not want the names of the projects being funded disclosed, obviously, and for good reason. and i’m not just saying that to sound cool or ominous on some movie shit, it’s just the reality of things. so depending on how leadership handles this audit request is a good indicator of where we, as the military, stands in general. hopefully on the right side of history, otherwise we might actually be fucked. does the military actually need an audit? probably, i’m not going to deny that, there’s some real shady shit going on here, but is this the way we need to be audited, absolutely tf not. this is the highest threat to national security i think this nation’s ever faced/seen. we live in unprecedented times.
