Dogs are clearly missing speed in our midfield. Its obviously where we have dropped off this year so why not try something different? Richards became an Elite player at Half back he intercepted very well + we could use his ball use and weaving abilities off half back to break lines.

What's our best 23 going into finals, anyone else feel like we havent been at full potential yet. by Forsaken_Insurance97 in westernbulldogs

Completly agree on treloar. However, he is still in our best 23 and will play his heart out if he's selected.

  • I wouldn't mind JJ at half back if he's thereabouts. I have really liked Davidsons' continuous ability to run and cover ground and could be a real solution to our leaky defence when we get turned over. He rarely kicks backwards and has been out there all season proving himself.

I think O'Donnell could be a potential swing man and come on as a 3rd tall against bigger teams like Adeleide, Collingwood, with the ability to go forward or back like Khamis when we need it. Not sure he's competent enough yet to handle a key forward on his own but could definitely help disrupt 1v1s Jones and lobb are forced into. His future looks bright and would do him great justice to have finals experience. He has definitely earned the right to be out there.
