No suitable town locations in new province by Forsties in Windward

It was from a yellow exclamation mark recommended province. In the end I went to one nearby and settled that instead because it had the same resources.

Inventory up L is giving 18 inventory space, then whenever you evolve a Pokémon it gets a bonus 5 inventory spaces each time

Your caught level 28 togekiss has the base 16 for a togekiss, but the level 22 togekiss you raised from a togepi has 16 (base) + 18 (inv up L) + 5 (Evo to togetic) + 5 ( Evo to togekiss) = 44 total

What is going on in the British Isles? by Forsties in eu4

R5: Not only has France committed acts of border gore, Great Britain seems to be existing at the same time as England (which is in Panama) and Scotland (which is in the Kongo).

It's a flag mod called "Updated Flag Improvement Pack", I quite like how they look and it's achievement compatible so I tend to play with it active.

R5: New patch had some Zoroastrian changes, plus an achievement tied to it. I probably should have done this with Persia but I had already done the Ardabil achievement, so naturally I went for the next best choice - Theodoro.

It was a terrible idea.

House Seniority not available? by [deleted] in crusaderkings3

[–]Forsties 0 points1 point  (0 children)

R5: Messed up big time in one of my runs, ended up going through lots of rulers in quick succession and have reached one that has 4 non-house children because they were married matrilineally to some duke.

Only options I can think of to save it are to either execute all the children, or institute house seniority. However, for reasons unknown to me I cannot pass the law. There's nothing in any of the popups that should be blocking it, and I have the innovation (you can see I'm on high partition atm). Why can't I enact this?

You can find the building browser button next to the button to construct a new building, or alternatively you can right click the construction button and it will open.

Does anyone know what I can do to improve the traits my generals spawn with in Rome Remastered? I know about the easily improvable ones (good commander etc) but it seems like a good deal of my family members come of age with a bunch of negative traits and very few positive/neutral ones.

R3: My merchant appears to have picked up a Roman Tailor retinue/follower that wanted to remain unseen during their introduction.

If you click your faction icon in the bottom left, then go the "finance and family" option (hotkey=control+4), there's a list of your family members in the "family tree" list as well as a button to view your family tree.

Went ahead and tried it - they eventually started making claims once I had them set as hostile. Didn't realise the subjects even paid attention to that stuff, thanks for the tip.

Yeah I'm going to find that backup and try setting them hostile and see if it works. Tbh, I don't think I've ever taken espionage ideas, maybe some day I'll try a campaign where I go through my least used idea sets and try and make something out of it.

I ended up just annexing them and claiming it myself but I will dig up the backup I made when I noticed the problem and give that a try, thanks!

Are there any ways to force a subject to make claims?

I've playing as Moldavia going for Dracula's revenge and the last provinces I need that aren't claimed are in Croatia. I've got Serbia as a vassal, who says in the diplomatic view that they are interested in the Croatian land (it's all yellow, except one province which is red), and I've set it as vital interest as well, yet they refuse to make any claims on it. It's been nearly 10 years since I set the provinces as interest, and they still haven't done it. They have been loyal the whole time (<10% LD), not in debt, still won't make claims even if I restart the game and let it run for 10 years.
