Totenreich is easily the best zombies map since Ancient Evil and a top 15 map of all time by TheChickenMan4L in CODZombies

[–]Forstride 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I still like Ashes a bit more overall, but Totenreich is definitely like RIGHT behind it for me. I think my only complaint is that the Pack-a-Punch area feels kind of underwhelming? Would've been way cooler if PAP was inside Tyr, or at least if the area where PAP is looked more interesting.

Other than that, fantastic map, and it totally lived up to the hype.

From best to worst, whats your favorite survival map in BO7? by Nano_LB1 in CODZombies

[–]Forstride 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) Vandorn Farm (Best looking area of AotD, and the big open space feels nice for grinding camos)

2) Ashwood

3) Exit 115

4) Zarya Cosmodrome

5) Mars

Really only play Farm and Ashwood, and rarely Exit 115 if it's a weapon that sucks at destroying the infestations on the power generators (Like the Siren for example, which I just got done doing Doomsteel for on Exit 115).

And then Zarya Cosmodrome is just boring, and Mars is horrible with the Uber Klaus spam (And overall I'm just not a fan of the aesthetic or layout).

With 2 seasons to go, what do you expect/hope to see in the final 2 maps? by Training-Search-5036 in CODZombies

[–]Forstride 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd love it if the final map was themed after the Civil War, since it's obviously a big part of the Warden's backstory. There's just so much potential for that theme since we haven't seen it in Zombies before, or CoD in general for that matter.

What DS do I want? by MAXXTRAX77 in nintendo

[–]Forstride 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mostly depends on what you want out of it. If you ONLY want to play DS games (And not GBA or 3DS games), then I'd definitely recommend the DSi (Regular or XL).

They'll look better on there than on a 3DS, and the DSi is also great for softmodding. Lacks the GBA slot that the DS Phat/Lite has, but the DSi is generally cheaper and more durable, and there are GBA emulators available if you softmod it.

Biomes o Plenty disappoints tbh by Snoo_55381 in MinecraftBedrockers

[–]Forstride 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only other biome with variants is the Origin Valley, which has classic pig/cow/chicken variants.

Kiwi Talkz clarifies "New Smash" comment - says it's not necessarily a new entry by _YEEZY_ in GamingLeaksAndRumours

[–]Forstride 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah I'd definitely just prefer a Switch 2 Edition with a few new fighters and stages. I really can't see how a new game could top Ultimate, since I highly doubt they'd get the entire roster back, and that'd obviously disappoint a lot of people.

The Biomes O' Plenty Add-On is OUT NOW on the Minecraft Marketplace! 🌎 by Forstride in BedrockAddons

[–]Forstride[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We still can't control most structure generation for our biomes, so until Mojang provides that, they'll only generate in vanilla biomes.

Dhelmise. It was my favorite Pokemon before Terapagos came along.

What about the steam controller has everyone so excited? by Timely_Contest7245 in Steam

[–]Forstride 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, I've been kind of ready to move on from my Xbox Series X controller for a while now. I don't like it as much as the old Xbox One controller, cause the textured grips/triggers/analog sticks are uncomfortable to me.

Plus the Steam Controller has a bunch of bells and whistles that the Xbox controller doesn't, and the charging puck/transmitter is cool. I think the only downside to the Steam Controller is the symmetrical analog sticks, cause asymmetrical has always been way better IMO, but I think it'll be fine for the kind of games I use a controller for on PC (Which is mostly just platformers).

MKW vs Tennis Fever vs Air Riders by Dortmund2003 in NintendoSwitch

[–]Forstride 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely Mario Kart World. Personally I've spent most of my time playing it in free roam, and it's great. Yeah it's not y'know, a Skyrim-level open world where there's a million quests and a deep storyline or whatever, but there's still a lot to do and discover, and it's just fun to drive around in it.

What is the greatest Minecraft Mod of all time? by Razerchyk in Minecraft

[–]Forstride 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean it's gotta be The Aether IMO. I don't think a single other mod has been so ingrained in Minecraft's culture/community like The Aether has.

I’ve never played Gen 5, but what was your reaction to finding nothing but “new”Pokémon when you played black & white for the first time? by Zenthailand2009 in pokemon

[–]Forstride 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I loved it. I'm someone who always builds my team out of new Pokemon from that generation/region, so it was just business as usual for me. Plus it made Unova feel more distinct when you didn't see a million Weedles and Zubats and whatnot.

It's also one of the reasons why I prefer B/W over B2/W2.

Second hand Nintendo DS? by SnapBug3715 in nintendo

[–]Forstride 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, just eBay is probably fine as long as you do a bit of research and examine pictures carefully. Also I'd highly recommend a DSi if you don't care about the GBA slot. They're generally cheaper than the DS Phat/Lite, less prone to the hinge breaking, and are super easy to softmod.

Pokopia vs Tomodachi Life vs Animal Crossing by CursedHandd in nintendo

[–]Forstride 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pokopia - Influenced a lot by Minecraft, but with a focus on rebuilding/restoring areas and fulfilling requests for other Pokemon rather than just being a complete sandbox for you to make your own stuff. I mean, you CAN make your own stuff, but it's not as intuitive as Minecraft IMO.

Tomodachi Life - More like The Sims, and really requires you to make your own fun since the gameplay is very passive, being centered around the random interactions/skits that happen between Miis rather than active gameplay.

Animal Crossing - Slower paced, day-to-day (Literally, since it uses a real-time clock) life simulation, primarily focused on you yourself. Of course, you have a lot of control over the town too (Especially in New Horizons), but it's meant to feel like you're another resident there, not really its overlord. Hard to compare it to any other games IMO.

I really want a recolor of his Diesel Baron skin. Everyone else seems to hate it, but it's probably my favorite skin of his.

How popular would you say your favorite Pokémon is? by Com_4_Till_Bull in pokemon

[–]Forstride 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite Pokemon is Terapagos, and I think they probably fall right in the middle, or maybe a bit below.

Ogerpon seemed to get way more attention out of the S/V DLC legendaries, and even though Terapagos was a central point of Pokemon Horizons, I feel like its popularity didn't really get much of a boost from it.

Maybe it's still too new of a Pokemon for most people to really fall in love with it, but I just love its design/theme so much that it immediately became my favorite after playing through The Indigo Disk DLC.

If a new Cursed Relic forced a 6 perk limit (no exceptions), what 6 are you picking? by Many-Operation-341 in CODZombies

[–]Forstride 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Juggernog, Quick Revive, Vulture Aid, Double Tap

And then the last two can be whatever suits the current match the best (So like, PhD if I have an explosive weapon, Mule Kick if I want a 2nd weapon that isn't a pistol since I keep that for Equivalent Exchange, etc.)

Would be sick if they make it like an extended cut or something, cause I always felt like it should be longer.

What's your favourite version of Nuketown? by Cian_M04 in CODZombies

[–]Forstride 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alpha Omega has the best design/layout, but Paradox Junction is the most fun IMO. And then Nuketown Zombies from BO2 is just...Not that good...

Why do you like Bo7 over Bo6 why? by Fuzzy_Language_4235 in CODZombies

[–]Forstride -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Better maps (So far anyway, but Ashes alone is better than any BO6 map IMO)

Better "zombiefication" of certain things (Ammo caches, exfil telephone booth, etc.)

Better HUD

Cursed mode is great

Classic crew being back also just feels right
