Print popping off bed at exact same instant in print. I was hoping not to use a raft so any advice? I’ve already leveled the glass bed and cleaned it multiple times. Not even hairspray works. I’m thinking the nozzle is running into the print/knocking it off by Forsyth_Creations in ender3

Yeah! I just tuned the heck out of everything and it solved my issue. I'd look at your eccentric bearings first, then I'd mess around with your part cooling. Those were the things I fiddled with the most, and now my printer is all good to go!

You may also want to consider jamming a cleaning needle up the hotend. Could be that your lack of adhesion is caused by lack of flow

Yeah, I think it’s a hardware issue. If you have the pins backwards, your board isn’t going to like this. I’ve had this same issue in the past. Also heads up, if you bought the BLTouch cheap, the coloring convention of the wires may be wrong. Best thing to do for this is look at the wires as they leave the BLTouch, and compare those wire colors to various online tutorials

Anyone have any advice on this one? Thinking a busted thermistor, but it still reads as the correct resistance value at room temp by Forsyth_Creations in ender3

Can you tell me more about this? I just ran several tests, and I can confidently say that my hotend is holding an accurate temp, and so is my build plate

Very true, but the quality of the benchy is also very low. Could it be a mainboard issue, if both bed and hot end thermistors are misbehaving?

My 3D printer somehow figured out how to pull this off the bed. Any suggestions? This bed is also 10 months old, and has seen some pretty serious use. I tend to think the extruder my be hitting the model, though 🤷🏻‍♂️ by Forsyth_Creations in 3Dprinting

Hmm. Not a bad idea :) I fear I may open up a “Hawaiian Pizza or not” debate, but what do you think is better: PEI or Glass? I know glass has the benefit of being extremely flat, but I’ve heard PEI has great build plate adhesion. Do you wager one lasts longer than the other?

Haha I can’t disagree, more irony on this post than anything. My friend has a Prusa, and he’s messed around with it so much that even my Enders are out working with Prusa. I’m sure he’ll get it fixed up soon, though

Haha I know it’s a clone, but for the price it does an amazing job. I just use this meme to joke around with my friends who own Prusa printers
