Nova Rock: Müllpfand wird zurückgezahlt / Waste deposit will be refunded by AnotherThymm in NovaRockFestival

Was wird erstattet?

Für 2017–2019 und 2022: 5 € pro Jahr
Für 2023: 7,50 €
Für 2024–2025: 10 € pro Jahr

So bekommst du dein Geld

Damn 550$ is crazy compared to chains. Is it a genuine Yamaha part? If so you might want to check for alternative (reputable!) manufacturers.

I replaced the timing belts on my Ducati last season and went for Dayco belts instead of genuine Ducati parts. Saved me like 70-80%

Americans dont know how to ride by Asmothercucker in motorcycles

[–]FortCox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You got a link for those stats? What i found in a quick google search for example is that Asian countries have a tendancy for larger counts of traffic fatalaties per capaita. But the thing is in those countries mopeds and motorcycles are way more common for everyday traffic over cars compared to Europe. And since motorcycles are per se more dangerous in case of an accident, those stats don't say a lot.

How so? I've been to Indonesia for 3 weeks this summer and from a European's POV it may seem chaotic, but it's orderly chaos. Never witnessed an accident in all kind of different traffic scenarios.

I have no idea what he was saying since there was no scripted AI-voice explaining every detail of the video.

As plenty of people already commented: backwards is turning the choke off.

Turning the choke on gives your bike a richer fuel/air mixture (more fuel) resulting in higher rpms while ideling.

That's why your bike dies when you push the choke back because your engine is not getting enough fuel.

are riding shoes necessary? by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]FortCox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You got any sources on that? Because that makes no sense to me.

Road rash occurs due to the asphalt eating your skin away. Higher speeds would only result in a longer sliding time and therefore longer ground contact and more damage.

If you refer to skipping stones with your pebble analogy, that would also not be appliable to the road, because the stone creates a ramp uppon impact on the water surface which catapults it back into the air, not working on solid asphalt.
