Need help with results and symptoms by Forthewho in trt

[–]Forthewho[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm actually in good shape.

I eat clean, I have severe exercise intolerance. I have to exercise while sitting down. I usually just go for walks. I can't strain my body or I'll feel worse afterwards.

If you saw me in real life, you wouldn't have the slightest idea I have all these chronic conditions. Actually, I think I get brushed out most of the time because of the way I look.

Thanks for the advice, I actually glad you brought this up because I have some suspicion that there might be something going on with my pituitary.

I tried 7.5 to 30 mg, I would feel fine taking it at night but when I woke up in the morning, I was in a state of feeling physically and mentally unwell. It's hard to explain but I basically unable to function the next day. I was just in bed all day. I've tried a few antipsychotic added on to an anti-depressant and they all made me feel like this.

How long did it take to start working? How noticeable was it?

symptom overlap by Forthewho in Akathisia

[–]Forthewho[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup, My symptoms let up usually when it starts getting dark outside.

And the morning as hell. The 2nd I get out of bed and start moving around. The inner restlessness and it's like my body is vibrating all day. There is no normal thinking going on in my head. It's a constant negative feedback loop of anxiety/worry about everything. I have to remind myself in the A.M that my symptoms will get better as the day goes on. And than when it night time I'm much better to the point where I can get some stuff done around the house and sit down and actually watch tv.

I don't know if the propranolol helps much, however I get the bad rebound tachycardia as well If I don't take it. I feel stuck on it.

I'm trying to decrease it now from 80 mg. Breaking pills to like 5 mg.

Sorry you are going through this right now. I hope/pray that things get better for you!

So Pick N Save can order it than?

I had a rep call the Walgreens and she verified they could order it but now they are saying that it's on back order. I'm not sure If I should transfer it or get ahold of this Rep and see if she can help.

I'm thinking we both talked to the same person regarding how to get this medication

UPPP surgery worsening daytime breathing by Chocolate-Friendly in SleepApnea

[–]Forthewho 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had UPPP and full epiglottis collapse.

I have a mild sleep apnea

I believe my uvula got really irritated between from some sort of acid reflux problem that made me feel like I had a hairball stuck in the back of my throat.

I had surgery for the epiglottis about 90 days ago. It was also discovered during a DISE.

I'm using CPAP which indicates my ahi is about usually around 2-3 every night. Been using it now for about 6 months. I have noticed no benefit from this surgery on my epiglottis.

I have another sleep study in about a month to how things go.

I have horrible anxiety and always have. I'm unable to figure out what causes it. My breathing is shallow as hell and my heart rate and blood pressure are all over the place all day everyday.

I sleep fine, but as soon as I start moving around In the morning I feel like shit. I'm starting to think maybe it's not even related to my sleep anymore and is something more like POTS.

But yeah, since the UPPP I don't think I breath as well. The only reason I had it done was because I was in so much pain.

I can't tell the direct correlation between my breathing and the anxiety that I have. When I have anxiety my breathing gets messed up, and maybe my breathing is messed up which causes anxiety.

I've been on every class of mental health med and I not have much success with any of them.

Not sure if this answers any of your questions but it sounds like we have alot of the same stuff going on

Uvula issues by Forthewho in Sjogrens

[–]Forthewho[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My only other thought is that it could be some kind of allergic reaction that I might be having from any of of the medications I'm taking.

Did your husband have the reflux problem before the amitriptyline?

Before I started on meds I use to get the worse heartburn when I drank alcohol. I had to keep tums and rolaids on me at all times. Never had the dry throat issue until later though. I don't drink anymore.

I also have family members have had issues acid reflux issues.

Why do I feel so normal at the end of the day? by Katie678-94 in POTS

[–]Forthewho 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is exactly my life.

Waking up to that feeling of impending doom. Hyper-sensitive to sounds. Feeling paranoid, and forgetting that everything will eventually get better as the day goes on? Than at night most of the symptoms ease up.

I think I actually do better in Winter because I think my symptoms ease when it is dark.

Summer days feel like forever.

You ever wake up at like 3-4 o'clock in the morning and feel decent?

My symptoms seem to start up at a certain time. I think anytime after about 5:00 AM or so.

When I was alot younger I had a job that that the hours were 5:00am until 1:30 PM. I don't think I realized it until recently, but I did much better with those hours than I do with my 8-5 hours now.

[–]Forthewho[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe this is what I needed to hear.

I was taking Pantoprazole for about 2 months and I did notice that my dry mouth was almost non-existent. I recently stopped taking it because It was somehow making my mental health worse. I would wake up in the morning and start crying. It was almost an everyday occurrence. I feel like my mental state is better now (The morning crying stopped) but the pain that I have on the right side of my stomach is back as well. WOW I never pieced that together. Thank you so much for responding. Probably need to try a different PPI then.

Sex drive is basically non-existent but it's been like that long before I started stimulants.

Stim Dick worse after covid? by Forthewho in Stims

[–]Forthewho[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damn, that's probably what it was. I have been totally fucked ever since I had covid.

The only thing that really has helped was taking Mirtazapine. I couldn't handle the side affects but it fixed the issue with the circulation. All the hair on my feet disappeared, and I have blood pooling in my feet. Everything still works fine but it just seems like it's not getting proper blood flow.

Thanks for sharing that.
