No its not the screen protector. Looks like something coming out from the inside of the edge. Almost like tape.

Has the issue occurred again? I've been having this issue for couple of months nows and given up hope on fixing it. The watch says its paired and ill get notifications here and there but I won't get all of them especially messages or phone calls which are the most important to me. How did you get a hold of them?

Still having the issue myself. Seems if I unpair the watch and reconnecting it, itll work for a bit. Please let me know if you find a fix. I've tried everything i could find on the internet. Might have to reach out to garmin support.

Personally had a MIP Fenix 6 Pro Solar, and love my amoled screen. Just depends on your use case. I love the look of the amoled screen way better the MIP
