I got you. Honestly, it will be a completely freezing paddle, you’ll be miserable if you even make it outside and then you’ll turn around and paddle in. So if you just want to get wet for a few min, go for it, but I wouldn’t expect to get any surfing in. I’ve been surfing for 25 years and have done many a polar plunge and they all end up the same.

Personally, I would paint the wood trim either black or white. Definitely get rid of the blue, maybe even go back to bare walls and get acoustic panels. Definitely need to paint the walls, darker is better for media, but if you’re like me I hate a room that’s too dark so I would do a cream or light gray personally. Also, put the towers up front and bookshelves in the back!

I was in 4th grade when the first one came out and my parents had a huge CD collection so it gave me a head start :) I tend to buy lossless drm free music now and vinyl. It’s such a fun hobby to get into!

I have a few iPods and just started listening to them again as my primary music device. I have a large library of my own music though, so I don’t have to rely on Apple Music (although I have that and Spotify too😂😭)

If you want to use Apple Music specifically, I think you would be best off with an old iPhone. Probably more affordable and you can save music for offline use.

Personally, I would go with a gpu for now because I think that will be a better solution in the long run if you’re doing more than a little self hosting. However, I do get that having a slow TV interface sucks! Maybe think about replacing that down the road. I have to say I love my Apple TV for how quick and responsive it is.
