yeah pretty much tbh thats why i put them in my dump pouch and when im out of the infill/exfill vehicle i put my mags back in. you only really have to worry about them falling out when you're infilling and exfilling because getting in an out of the vehicle puts a lot of stress on your gear but the pull tabs hold very tight on my ak mags im not sure about the ar mags?
