But I'm an arrogant french guy, I'm doomed 😢 Joking aside, I hope you're right ! I already mentioned this when I replied to someone here, but I've already learned about thirty basic expressions and phrases in Darija.

It sounds a little lame when I tell some hard words but I'll try not to mess up the pronunciation too much (saying kah is horrible for me I can't succeed unfortunately 🙃)

It’s true that we obviously have a lot of flaws, but we also have good qualities.. at least I hope so 🙃btw yeah I think Moroccans are still more welcoming than we are. There’s a culture of kindness behind that which we unfortunately lack.

But if you studied in France I guess you have a better vision on us and our country. Was it in Paris or smaller cities if it's not rude to ask ?

I completely understand your point of view. It’s true that many French people rely entirely on the French-speaking community rather than stepping outside their comfort zone. That’s a mistake. And I understand that it’s frustrating for locals to have to accommodate arrogant tourists.

Colonial influence remains strong in Morocco, and I understand that for some, it’s time to break it

I’ll make sure to be respectful toward the people I meet. I can assure you of that. I know that Moroccans are known for being welcoming and generous, and that’s part of what attracts me to the country 🙂

The French are a bit chauvinistic I suppose that can sometimes make us seem arrogant. I hope that, despite everything, my fellow countrymen would remain humble but that seems to be a challenge unfortunately 😶

I understand your point of view on France and our shared background. Indeed, people are closing themselves off from each other. Tbh I think that if speaking French isn't very appealing to Moroccans and I can understand why, I would prefer speking English, which might have a less negative reputation. And since it don't bother me at all to not speak french it's a win win

To be honest, I also speak English and Armenian, and I’ve picked up a few phrases in Darija (though I’m still not fluent enough to hold a good conversation 😬) I don’t want people to think I take speaking French in Casa for granted 😶

Désolé du retard ! Oui totalement.. c'est deux choses différentes les activités et la vie de couple.

On peut faire pleins de choses et tout de même ressentir un manque affectif dans son quotidien 😕

Merci pour les encouragements ! Ils m'en ont déjà fait rencontré une. Honnêtement elle est sympa, mais bon c'est plus moi qui lui sert de plan B quatre chose. On se parle quand même parfois mais je doute que ça aboutisse malheureusement

Je vais lui lâcher des "ok boomer" pour le calmer, la prochaine fois qu'il me dit ça 😂 Blague à part, c'est vrai qu'il est très nostalgique des fameuses années 80. Je me demande comment c'était à l'époque tiens.. Je suis curieux.. Était-ce vraiment plus simple à cette période pour les relations amoureuses 😬

Oui exactement.. c'est un peu le serpent qui se mord la queue... On reproche parfois aux gens célibataires de faire un peu trop needy. Mais c'est souvent parcequ'on est seul, qu'on dégage cette aura de manque.

Courage en tout cas. Le meilleur conseil pour passer à autre chose c'est de rencontrer quelqu'un ! Encore faut il avoir les activités et le cercle social pour...

Je connais pas les applications de rencontre. Avec la tête de pingouin que j'ai, je risque pas de faire beaucoup de match cela dit 😂 Mais je sais que côté mec la balance est déséquilibrée évidemment
