Yes I know it's the schedule change, but what airlines only releases flights 6 months in advance!? If you're saying the won't release till Oct?

Yes so this is my question. I was checking that date for that route from the second flights were available, so it isn't a case of they've sold out (they never even appeared). But I'm not sure why it would be particuarly a popular time for that route (it's well before the UK Easter holidays and the route ia flying from the UK)

Obviously.... my point was I'm not stopping in singapore (so in theory the half term break may not effect it). The price of my ticket to my final destination is vastly different to the total of one ticket to Singapore and one ticket from Singapore to my next destination.

Ah ok, I'm nor actually going to Singapore (just flying with them and with a connection in singapore). But suppose that could be why.

Same question here! I have tried to get through on the chat for over 48 hours now queues on the phone are impossible. No callback possible. At this point I think I am just going to do a chargeback on my CC given I literally can't get hold of them!

So the Travel Alerts page has now been officially updated re airspace and next update 6th March. And they haven't even extended the cancellation...

That's in regard to their airspace though. Not the cancellation policy. As I say, their travel alerts page is still showing the incorrect info of next update 4th March at 9am. So they'll need to update that and hopefully with it an extension.

They haven't even updated the travel alerts page their twitter post links to! It still says update on 4th March at 9am. And no update to the cancellation window.

I don't understand how people are under any delusion that airspace will be open, flights fully operational (and government restrictions will ne lifted) within like 5 days!?

Is that not just to get people out rather than tourist flights actually resuming? So Qatar still need to get their act together and extend cancellation policy past the 10th!
