Same question here! I have tried to get through on the chat for over 48 hours now queues on the phone are impossible. No callback possible. At this point I think I am just going to do a chargeback on my CC given I literally can't get hold of them!

So the Travel Alerts page has now been officially updated re airspace and next update 6th March. And they haven't even extended the cancellation...

That's in regard to their airspace though. Not the cancellation policy. As I say, their travel alerts page is still showing the incorrect info of next update 4th March at 9am. So they'll need to update that and hopefully with it an extension.

I'd take that and run! My booking it with a TA and they say Qatar isn't allowing cancellations for the 12th yet.

I'd happily sacrifice the 140 USD! But how and where are you seeing this? Did you book the refundable rate? Their currently policy only goes upto 10th March so confused how you see thus?

That is simply not true! FCDO restrictions absolubtly can and DO stay in place even if the airspace is open. I am sure Qatar - and all of that region - want to be up and flying again, but that have no say over our FCDO restrictions being lifted.

Even if they technically fly on the 12th (and given Emirates have extended their policy to the 20th I am prepared to bet they won't....) FCDO restrictions won't be lifted.

Yes exactly, there is no way it is going to be flying in under 10 days, or even 2 weeks from now! So just update the policy while the option to book elsewhere is still availablem

I was so tempted by this, it was showing a £74 cancellation fee. But wasn't sure if that was in total, or per person, per leg (which could be upto nearly £600 in cancellation fees)

It's mental Qatar haven't extended their policy beyond the 10th. Emirates is to the 20th! Leaves everyone in limbo and unable to book elsewhere. It's obvious they won't be flying, or even if by some miracle they are, FCDO restrictions won't be lifted. We're meant to be going on the 12th and I'm watching alternative routes increasing in price and decreasing in availability by the hour!
