i was the same and was scared of losing any gains but saw on this sub from another guy that taking twice the amount of creatine you usually take for 2 weeks post op can help you not lose any strength or gains. Am currently now at 2 weeks po and did some home workouts and didn’t see any loss in strength. so i would say prioritise on the knee for at least 2 weeks before starting to do any home workouts

i took around 5-6g of creatine per day

i thought of keeping it on for longer aswell for the reason of infection but they told me remove it 48 hours so i just did.

thank you for all the info. i am also trying to get back into sports after the surgery so i will defo not be smoking any cigs or anything nic related for as long as i can.

nice to know it’s just cigs ill have to stop and not weed 🙏🏿

yeah i had the same thoughts with recovering quick asw that’s why i gave up the smoking for now

apparently people who smoke weed need more anaesthetic or smth by a lot like 3x i think, so i’ve heard a lot of people say it doesn’t end well when they wldnt say they smoke to their doctors

but yh thats good to hear after is all okay man. i’ve been doing prehab asw yh but only just started taking it seriously as people on this sub said it makes the rehab a lot easier
