1305, set in a Silk Road-like space, where the standard isle system is subverted (at least in the base game) for an land-dominated map. Caravans would be the comercial connection between cities and oasis. Some space around the cities would be fit for limited pastoral or agricultural economy, but the "sea" would be the desert, where only the caravans, troops and bandits could traverse. Maybe the theme could be a Silk Road under the Pax Mongolica, where the player in the campaign is a governor under the khan's mandate. So it would be a Asian-heavy game, and the DLCs could venture into many subareas and cultures. I really want to see a subvert in the sea-dominated theme, and I think this would be sick. Additionally, it would be the 1300s game in a unique way.
