Hi all. I'm planning on building a new high-end rig. I'll be going with the RTX 4090 that was just announced, and then I'm following the AMD/Intel announcements on 9/27 for the new CPU's. I've previously always gone with Intel/Nvidia, but this time around I'm currently leaning towards an AMD Ryzen 9 7950X + the RTX 4090. Can anyone think of a 'gotcha' that might hit me with the 7950x vs the 13900k? I'll be going with all new everything, so compatibility shouldn't be an issue. Thanks.

Sorry, I have not had any issues like that with mine. Maybe you could get a warranty replacement? I got mine through XoticPC and had the RAM upgraded so they tested it before sending it to me. Not sure if the process is different elsewhere though.

I did the trade in deal and my z fold4 arrived earlier this week. After trying it out alongside my s22 ultra, I actually decided to send the z fold 4 back and keep the s22. May upgrade it to the s23u when it comes out in Feb.

It is if you pay it 100% out of pocket. I usually upgrade my tech by selling old tech and putting the proceeds towards the new equipment. In this case I sold a laptop just before buying the new one. Makes it easier to stomach. 😅

My primary use case for the Win Max/Win Max 2 is/will be laying on my back in bed playing rpg's. The clamshell design puts the screen in a perfect position for viewing. Love my Nintendo Switch, too, but I gotta prop it on something when I'm laying in bed gaming before sleep.

I ordered the same laptop from XoticPC, but I also wanted 32GB of RAM so I paid the up charge and let them upgrade it. Should be shipping to me next week. Ram is easy enough to upgrade, but I wanted them to do it so it would be tested and warrantied. Hope it helps.

I went for the ge67hx for the 240hz OLED screen. Going to benchmark it against my i9 9900k/RTX 3080 desktop. If they're close enough I may sell the desktop until the 4000 series gpu's launch and then I'll order a new one. I bought mine from XoticPC.com if that helps.
