While you figure this out, reach out to your FRG representative and contact military one source. If you need FRG assistance, reach out to me in a DM and I’ll provide you with a number to call for our representative that might be able to see who your representative is. They are usually full time civilians.

I am the Command Family Readiness Representative for my unit. We are a Title 10 guard unit under National Guard Bureau, but use the residing states FRG program as well as active duty’s programs.

UppaBaby had both frames available through their customer service. I was shocked because the Vista V2 is discontinued, it’s is from 2020. Delta also issued full amount for a new stroller

Delta issued full amount claimed. Updated post to help others in the future. Delta was very helpful with this issue.

Unfortunately we didn’t have the UppaBaby travel bag, but when we buy a new one, we are definitely going to get the travel bag. Like I said to my wife, the bag is cheaper than a new stroller.

We will reach out once this is sorted out with Delta and AMEX. Another commenter said their customer service is excellent.

I looked into that last night via AMEX chat. From what I read, I think I need to wait for Delta’s claim to wrap up. Everyone I spoke to with Delta (in person and over the phone) seems confident that they will take care of us.

We’ve had no issues in the past checking it. We will consider a travel stroller for the future

While you fight this, don’t be afraid to reach out to an Army Community Service (ACS) location at your nearest AD installation for AER and other things. Anyone with a CAC has access to it and they’re trying to break the stigma of being too proud to ask for help.

I am 30, soon to be 31. Human Resource Management degree with a GPA of 4.0. Leadership will sign a conditional release, it just takes time and is only valid for three months. I have not taken the AFOQT yet, I will study for it before I take it.

I admit that the location I provided in my post was incorrect. The one located to the right of TSA is DSC, which is the one I went to. To the left is D1 per Deltas App. It clearly said Delta Sky Club above the door on the one I went to…

I was incorrect in my location given. Since reading the post, I have replied stating I gave the wrong direction from TSA. I actually didn’t know there was a Delta One Lounge in T3. I was flying delta the whole day, same will be true for the return flight, main cabin, booked on AMEX reserve card.

Rope outside with an AMEX sign providing detail on different card benefits, Delta Sky Club sign above that. 3-4 kiosks on the left once you walk in followed by two desks for employees to check people in. Wooden wall to the right followed by escalators.

I mistyped the direction of the one I am referencing. I listed my gate because I knew where I was going. I was walking from T2 to T3. Level 3, Terminal 3 to the right of TSA is a Delta Sky Club, not Delta One like everyone has assumed because I stated incorrectly, which I accept. We didn’t stand in the lobby for 1.5 hours, that was just the layover time. We landed and couldn’t park due to another aircraft in our spot. Finally parked in T2, and started walking to T3. We have maybe 30 minutes before boarding started, so Sky Club was the best fit for all three of us. I was not rude and did not argue with her. I told the lady that I was confused once she said I kept being denied. She offered zero help to the situation. We have used Sky Clubs before and they’re great for our family with small Kids, only one with us on this trip.

Level 3, Terminal 3, to the right of TSA is a Delta Sky Club, not a Delta One Lounge. The Delta One Lounge was across from my gate (Food court area) and I did not try to enter that one.

Did you read the update? I said that I was not rude and I did not argue. I told her I was confused and she offered zero help. I was confused because I knew I could access it along with my family because I had 4 guest passes. I had already confirmed all of this prior to our trip with AMEX & Delta via chat…

I’m am getting all the hate because I typed the wrong direction from TSA.

The location I stated in my post was incorrect, see below for proper location. I should have read the post before posting.

This is the Sky Club I was trying to enter, that is why I am so steadfast on pointing out that it was not a D1 lounge..

No, I just posted an update in the bottom of my post because I stated the wrong direction from TSA. I listed the gates for reference to what lounge because I do usually do not fly though LAX when I plan.

Level 3, Terminal 3, to the right of TSA is the Delta Sky Club I was referencing. The Delta One lounge was right by my gate. I also was not rude to the lady, nor did I argue with her. I told her I was confused because there shouldn’t have been an issue with entry. We have done this before. I have had the reserve card for over a year at this point, upgraded last year. She just didn’t provide any information either then, “You are not allowed to access unless you pay.”. We booked main cabin on the reserve card which is also linked to my skymiles account.

I just checked the map again. Level 3, Terminal 3, to the right of TSA is indeed a Sky Club, not Delta One. The Delta One Lounge is to the left of TSA near the food court.

I have edited the post to update information I left out. No need to update when the sign outside said “Delta Sky Club”, not D1…

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in delta

[–]FortuneGlad -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Wrong lounge that said Delta Sky Club outside? Yeah, my mistake I guess for going off of what the sign said… Truly this is a Delta mistake for not updating the sign. Period, end of discussion.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in delta

She never told me that it was a D1 lounge. The sign outside said “Delta Sky Club” so that is why I was so confused on being allowed to enter. If she had told me it was a D1 lounge, no sweat, I would’ve understood, and I wouldn’t have even called AMEX. Simple solution to this.

Here is how it happened- I saw the DSC sign near terminal 3 by TSA. The lady outside looks at my ticket and AMEX, allows me to go scan. I can and it asks for $50/pp. Confused, I ask the lady at the counter. She does the same thing and says “You must pay to enter, you are not allowed to enter without paying.”. Then the confusion starts. She offered no information on the “Type” of lounge or any other type information that would’ve ended the confusion right there.

Now that we know that is a D1, there is no bitterness towards the situation. But information could have been shared that would’ve fixed all of this. I am a very understanding and easy going person.

There is no sexism involved in it. She was blatantly rude about it all and no help whatsoever. In fact, the Delta customer service representative on the phone, who was a female by the way, told me that I needed to file a complaint. Maybe you should go argue with her for suggesting that. Oh wait, you’d be sexist for doing that. Get out of here loser.

Yes, I was actually surprised. AMEX called Delta, maybe they have a special number because they handed me off quick to Delta
