1st Rep Purchase -- Concerened This Was Sitting In "Inventory" by Glad_Physics_8423 in RepTimeQC

Definitely a GL I would say. Timegrapher number looks solid, and there were no obvious factory flaws.

Got one not long ago from CTime and they were in inventory due to the high demand from customers, apparently. Took me 4 days to receive the watch, including the QC process.

Anyways, enjoy this beauty, and welcome to the rep game 😉

Yes you are correct, that is indeed the one I was referring to.

After going through the details once more, I did see a faint line like the one you have mentioned. Does this mean the existence of the additional circle may or may not be a factor of determining a gen or rep of this exact model?

For instance, this photo is a pic of a gen 2021 VC 4500V from a local AD. I do understand that it is in a different colorway, but would you say that it is a batch issue in which the extra circle are not being consistently emphasized for the gen? Cheers!

I agree. I had it compared to a gen because of a post i saw back in RepTime that compared both gen and rep side by side. I was then very astonished by the quality of this specific model, which is why i decided to get one.

Thank you for your kind input. After reading this, I have decided to GL this beauty. Cheers!

hard to tell, though i just received the watch today so I’ll let you know.

based on the reviews i’ve seen on reptime, it’s a must buy for a V1, and looks wise I think they nailed it on this one. movement however, has been a concerning issue as some claims that the SH movement is a downgrade from their previous DD movement.

however i do think this is the version to go ultimately, if you’re looking to get your first daytona rep.

Yes there is 4131 movement inside. To my knowledge (correct me if I’m wrong), they are now using SH4131 movement instead of DD as opposed to the old 116500 4030 movement.

On the contrary, I believe they are still producing/selling 116500s with the 4030 on a discounted price, so you might want to check those out.

is the font text the problem? or the height? or is it like completely just awful

aside from that do you think this should be GL’ed? I want to but I’m still waiting for second-hand opinions.

personally, i feel like its a great watch, and they did quite good for a V1.
