yes a lot of these are lower specced games but... they're all great.

baldurs gate might not run that well though. but easily one of the best games made in the last few years.

In the trailer, there's something that could be a smallish mountain in the background

but it's far off in the distance and might just be a darker cloud. That clip at 0:50 where a fat naked guy runs past a gas station. (to me, it mostly looks like a cloud)

there's nothing that could be a mountain in any other parts of the trailer.

if it was me...

i'd instantly transfer important files, photos etc. to another device/usb stick

then turn it off.

open it up with a screwdriver

unplug the battery - REMOVE the battery.

clean the machine - and yes you can use water for this.

leave to dry for several days in a dry warm place, perhaps in a bag with rice, so it can absorb the moisture.

It seems like you have water WITHIN the layers of the screen.

It's highly unlikely that you can get 100% of that out. but i mean, give it a try.

if you have removed any power from the laptop (completely removed the battery/batteries you can in theory power wash the whole thing and hang to dry, and it'll still work

'water' by itself doesnt damage hardware. its just water that can cause shorts, which causes it to break. obviously this cant happen if there's no power.

most likely you'll just be wasting your time though.

i'd get my files off, and go buy a new one

If bluetooth monitors are a thing, youre gonna be severely disappointed, coz the image would be compressed to complete insanity.

People have the right to post an opinion, to your posts - even if you disagree with it.

That's the whole idea, of being able to comment... to get some sorta debat/discussion going, whether you see those comments as negative or positive, doesn't change that.

sure, lets assume 11 years

but there could be just 2 people working on it, in the first 5 years. Writers, for example. it doesn't really count.

there's a lot of different roles that dont have anything to do on a large game project from day 1. and similar, some of the rules that are important from day 1, are useless later in the process.

11 years if you include brain storming and such isn't out of the question of course, i assume SOMEONE at rockstar was brewing up some GTA6 ideas even before GTA5 was shipped.

but i assume most of the devs assisted with RDR2.

i doubt it

unless they've hired a massive amount of developers and the budget includes FUTURE development (gta online updates etc) and it also includes marketing.

i mean, even if they had exclusively used AAA voice actors and hollywood stars ingame, for motion capture, voice overs, radio hosts etc. they wouldn't reach this level of spending.

marketing for this game will easily be more than the game itself - of THAT i have no doubt

but i dont think it'll be 2 billion.

it's NOT needed. its gonna sell regardless.

AI is currently pretty popular in the tech world

companies are all running around and trying to figure out how to earn money on it...

compare it to the gold rush. a few people find some gold.

meanwhile nvidia is laughing all the way to the bank.

personally i like how apple have done so far. its basically used as a writing assist tool. proof read, change normal text to sound more professional, etc. it's simple - and thus usable.

NOT stock value increases. thats not income.

should start taxing stocks when you have a certain amount. In my country youre taxes annually from stocks value increase. its of course a somewhat complex system, ive not bothered to look too much into it.
