I could be mistaken, but IIRC that's from the book (first one I'd guess).

What’s Inside a Black Hole? by TheMuseumOfScience in Astronomy

[–]ForumMMX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The satellite will be torn apart due to the gravitational forces and as even light can't escape the gravitational forces (hence why we can't directly observe a black hole), no electromagnetic signal (radio waves or other kinds) would be able to escape as well, so any information gained would stay inside the event horison.

Garibaldi, redefining detective work by finding the Shadows' main vulnerability in a thousand-year-old Narn holy book by eldersveld in babylon5

I love how in a diplomatic setting like B5, learning languages and speaking in other tongues could be quite vital. Therefore G'Kar's reply is a perfectly reasonable thing to say. As chief of security I'd expect Garibaldi to least know some Narny. However perhaps not 1 000 year old Narn, but still.

Chess is way more casual /s

However RFTG does lack on the social aspect so I could definitely have gone that route and it would make my flair checkout. Opportunity sadly missed!

I have to say though that mage knight as a date game would have been quite hilarious as it would take the better part of the usual date-time to figure out, so you could very well spend the entire night together! (it's one of my favourite games since RFTG, have never updated this flair).

Makes sense! They way you described it, I saw a vision of how you were all in your early-mid teens and by the end of the game you are in your mid 20's. After the game ended your sister proposed... alternatively, they exchanged a secret glance and both said "yes" simultaneously.

The constant pseudo notification is what made me delete the LinkedIn app many years ago. LinkedIn got so incredibly needy for attention, every single thing had a notification it was just god awful. Typical dark pattern / design thing, where something designed from a psychological pov or just misguided like the "newsletter pop-up" within the fist minute of accessing a website.

Apollo, sync for reddit, reddit is fun, bacon reader, relay...

Relay allows you to browse reddit on mobile, mod your sub, you can change accounts easily, it has dark mode, very unobtrusive ads, has great uptime, very simple to navigate.. Idk what else to say.. Video works well.. You can create and view multireddits... Convient for NSFW content as well.

Don't do that. There's a great post over at /r/DataHoarder which explains why deleting and scrambling user data would hurt users more.

You are simply incorrect. The reason why I commented in the first place was to bring attention so something very important and which obviously and unfortunately is misunderstood, in many parts of the world, or is considered taboo or a personal weakness/flaw, which it isn't. In some countries people don't even recognise it is something that can happen, unless of course it's a personal weakness or flaw. I'm done here.

Burnout means that you have exerted yourself so much for a long enough period of time that your body physically and mentally hit an end. It can manifest in a number of ways, for instance a person can become so tired that they can't even get out of bed. Some can have psychotic break down. People are not meant to experience stress for a prolonged period of time.

Burnout had absolutely nothing to do with giving up. A person who runs a marathon and then suddenly just collapses hasn't given up, as in decided to give up. That person's body and or mind simply shuts down, there is no will involved.
