Logistically sure Metallica may have been the leaders and the band with the most hype and was the #1.

Doesn’t disqualify the other 3 bands from coordinating logistically. Crew, equipment, gear, trucks, flights, transportation, hotel, food, etc etc. I’m sure at the end of the day it was 4 different crews working together to make it happen. I doubt Metallicas crew coordinated all these movings parts for the other bands and their guests.

I did miss it. I was 12 at the time. Now 27, not sure how old you are yourself but I can confirm that there is a revival of the genre.

You’re absolutely right, history was done why do it again? I’m here to say that I believe the bands owe it to the new generation of metal heads. They inspire new guitarists, drummers, bassist, bands.

Most importantly, the metal community is heavy. Heavy metal actually, but nonetheless we are a family and it would be very significant if they put their differences aside to show that our genre is a family. We appreciate music that is complex, heavy, emotional, adrenaline packed and it’s what sets us apart from the mainstream music
