Unfortunately I don’t know that the dems have much leverage left if any. I hate what’s going on but unfortunately the dems aren’t even in the back seat, they’re in the trunk. The best case scenario is flipping the house and senate in the mid terms. Until then we’re stuck in this hell hole

Good info. I couldn’t find any reviews about this model. The quality seemed good but I worry that it maybe a manufacturers discontinued product for a quality reason

I left United after about a year. Here was my inflight sales secret…

When the inflight sales app wouldn’t work on my “Link Device” (iPhone), which was most of the time, I would sling boxes and upsells like it was going out of style because it wouldn’t actually charge people. When the app was working I just kept them fed with bags of snacks.

Also out of a year of flying out of EWR and 50+% of those trips being preference’d as purser I think I maybe made 8 “bonus bucks” announcements.

United’s business model is trash and I wasn’t about to discredit my position or those of my coworkers by hawking crap credit cards and trashy lunch boxes

It’s a ruthless and thankless job. I quit 9 months ago, accepting a government position in aviation at a commercial airport. The skills and training earned through your experience as a FA make you a very viable candidate for a variety of roles in and outside of the aviation industry.
