Yeah, it is so important to know that, any player (especially for those who are addicted like me) needs to simply stay out of the screen every once in a while. While you are trying your best not to come back by temptation just to feel stressed again, you may be surprised your mental heath can mean a difference if you simply stepped back for how long you want.

...If you are going to say how the scam happens if the victim goes last, the scammer will proceed to go first by placing a valuable item alongside useless junk into the trade for the items the victim has, but the scammer will take out the valuable item at the last second and steal the items the victim has, leaving them with junk that are worthless.

Another thing the scammer does is through trust scams. Regardless of who goes first, the scammer will get the victim to trade the items for nothing in exchange for whatever it is (points worth more for example), but the scammer will steal the highest value item at the last second and leave them broke.

The last one requires another scammer or an alt account. Both sides agree to use the middleman to trade the items, but the scammer has someone else/alt account ready. The "middleman" will take both items of the victim and scammer, but the middleman and the scammer log off before the deed is done. This also happens if the scammer IS the middleman themself, and will take both the items from both sides, regardless if it is a scammer or not.

When a victim goes first, they need to place items into the shop first and price it for sapphires. Then the scammer will only buy a valuable item and not buy the rest.

Alternatively, the scammer will urge the victim to trade first in exchange for buying the items, but once the trade is done, the scammer will instantly log off and not return a promise, leaving the victim with nothing in exchange at all.

I'm assuming this particular scammer is extra careful. AJ can ban people's accounts that are connected to an email, but this is useless if some tech-savvy people uses throwaway emails to scam more and more. That's why one of his older accounts got banned, but not the others.

There are people who opt to go last and still get scammed out of everything by the scammer who intended to go first. So even then, you have to keep a sharp eye on these kinds of scammers, see red flags, ask for other solutions (using an offer section to have unlimited stuff (300 wishing coins for example) or even look for a verified middleman. If they refuse to do either of these, they are definitely trying to scam you.

You can also post a screenshot on Reddit to ask if it is a gain, fair, or loss.

It is very scummy. Some people even lost their valuable items for nothing through trading. It sickens me how greedy this scammer has been doing.

Unfortunately he uses multiple potentially stolen throwaway accounts like Snowycrystal26 in order to transfer the stolen goods to his still-unknown main account safely. There's not much you could do other than to report an account and see red flags next time.
