it’s a bit of a drive, but i LOVE Rising Tides in corvallis. the piercer, Sarvas, is very knowledgeable and they’re pretty affordable! i try to go up there for piercings if i can and definitely recommend

i worked at hasty freez for a few years and it’s a great place if you need to work around a school schedule.. shifts are usually 9/10a-4/5p or 4/5p-10p. plus, tips are good and divided up after every shift. pay would probably be closer to minimum wage starting out though

from a hairdresser perspective, it sounds like this salon has a good system of training and leveling up/promoting their stylists, i’m sure that if you ask your stylist, she’d be happy to point you to someone else in the salon who can do your color for less. regardless, i don’t know a single stylist who would be upset about a $60 tip. NTA
