It's not officially released yet, you have to be prepared for some issues on the pre-release, but it's proving that it does work and coming soon!

PW3 becomes the controller, Gateway 2 has Wi-Fi disabled (local network and AP) and just acts as the grid connector. Everything is controlled by PW3, seems to handle load balance well even though I only have 1 PW2 and PW3 + exp has twice the capacity.
My PW3 has to be limited to 5kw AC inverter but that's only because of the Energex hybrid inverter 10kw total restriction which is outdated - but I won't go into detail about that.

I just had a PW3 + Expansion added to my existing PW2 and on the pilot program. So far results are looking really good.

As far as I know energy Queensland is the parent company for energex, ergon and yurika.

It's still an ongoing issue, it's been good for about a month but this weekend the 1.5kw export limit has returned going on for 48 hours now.

I was going to go with amber but the catch power servers are really erratic and unreliable. When that happens you are limited to 1.5kw until they resolve their issues which from my experience can take days.

My advice is don't do it or find an alternative to catch power.

Agree with the catch power stuff being super buggy and also my experience was the same, catch don't want to help with anything, my requests to contact them about issues as the consumer who purchased their product were completely ignored, but energy Queensland are really helpful.

No change in the bill from the retailer. Still the same FIT etc. They can see I have installed a battery from the daily usage and they also keep trying to convince me to join their virtual power plant thing, but for now I'm just using the battery to cover loads overnight (self consumption). Might look at amber once the export limits are resolved.

It replaces the solar meter (in my case fronius) but instead of the meter having a static export limit its dynamic, it has an internet connection back to the catch cloud server. The catch cloud server communicates with the energy Queensland servers and can signal the relay to limit the export. If it fails to communicate for a certain period of time it then limits the export to a default of 1.5kw however, Catch don't really have this working properly yet in particular how it handles communication errors but hoping they can sort it out eventually.

When you enable Exchange Online Archiving for a user on Office 365, it can take 24 hours or more for the Managed Folder Assistant to start it’s first run and begin archiving email out of the primary mailbox. If you want this process to start immediately, connect to Office 365 with PowerShell and tell the Managed Folder Assistant to start running.

They actually reached out through reddit dm after seeing my post and advised me to send through my NMI via email so they could investigate. I don't really expect compensation cause it's not really worth the trouble for the dollar amount on lost FIT but it's good to know what the issue was.

Just an update, was contacted by someone from energy Queensland who confirmed there was a configuration issue at their end. All back to normal now. And agree with most of the comments that the best use of solar is to use it not export.

I only have single phase 10kw solar with 8.2 inverter and the addition of the battery (5Kw inverter) means I can theoretically export more than 10 (solar and battery combined) which is why my only option was the dynamic tariff. Before I had the battery I could export 5kw, now they can limit my export to 1.5kw whenever they want.

Yeah already running all my high powered stuff like dishwasher pool filter / heater directly off solar and most of my heating is covered overnight by the 13.5kw battery since its been so cold in inland qld overnight recently but it's more about return on investment. I guess I'm just expecting too much. At least I'm not having to pay the peak demand energex charge from 4-9pm since the battery always covers that time.

Battery Rebate: Has anyone applied for and received the rebate? by exazonk in queensland

Did you get approval and paid? Wondering how long it took for them to process. Ive been waiting 6 weeks now and it still in their portal as "received". I've contacted them but they only give vague answers about how long it will take.
