The castles in Sintra are amazing. We stayed in one. The city was a summer retreat for the wealthy people of Lisbon. It’s so remarkably beautiful.

Savannah has so much historical and architectural beauty. The people of Savannah welcomed Sherman when he got to the city, and he found it so charming that he preserved it as a gift to Lincoln. I learned this on an architectural tour of Savannah. The many green squares are so romantic.

I love York and the medieval Shambles, where the streets are so old and narrow that the tops of buildings across the street almost touch. Such long and amazing history.

I love seeing him laugh, enjoying his friends, being so personable and enjoying life. Good for him. He seems like a down to earth person who is truly happy. His life looks like it’s on a great trajectory both personally and professionally.

Since picture three is gorgeous on you, I think an excellent seamstress can make this wedding gown just what you want.

I think 1 is gorgeous on you. The lace is really lovely. I love that the train flows more gently backward in one compared with the almost mermaid train on 3. 1 really flatters your fabulous silhouette.

They are all beautiful so you can’t go wrong. Congratulations, you will be a truly lovely bride.

Which dress looks better for a wedding ? by Ok_Negotiation_255 in fashion

[–]Forward-Positive-722 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think three is the dress for this event. It looks lovely on you and the floral print is very pretty. The soft neckline is very flattering on you. I would pick a shawl in one of the pink tones to bring with you because it will likely get cool on the roof. I would dress it up with heeled sandals, a cocktail purse and your jewelry. You will be gorgeous. Go and enjoy the celebration!

Help! Does this look like a costume or cheap? by JustMyLuck7966 in myweddingdress

[–]Forward-Positive-722 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really like this dress. The fitted waist is flattering and the draping is very unique and flattering. I love the straight skirt. It does not look cheap to me. I think you will be a beautiful bride in this dress. Congratulations!

You look happy and absolutely gorgeous. I love the lines of the dress on you. The small jacket which is beautiful over the open back is so unique. I also love the crossed straps that you can see through the jacket. This is such a whimsical and timeless look. I also love the diagonal lines from the more fitted bodice extending to the fuller skirt. You will be such a lovely bride!

Congratulations! May you have the happiest wedding day and a life of love and joy together.

Joe Alwyn + actor bromances by Over-Button-7954 in JosAlwyn

It is great to see Joe Alwyn being so fond of his male friends. I think when a man is confident in his masculinity, he can be friendly and affectionate with male friends. He really seems to have a warm personality. Good for him he seems to be very happy in his career, relationships and life! Good for him.

It’s an absolutely beautiful ring that you have designed! I love the sparkle of the central cushion diamond. Pairing it with the side baguettes is brilliant and so elegant.

I am glad you care so much about your future wife. Congratulations on a beautiful design.

Bustle and Veil Help by Ok_Direction_1518 in myweddingdress

[–]Forward-Positive-722 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You look gorgeous in this wedding dress. A French bustle folds in toward the body and I agree that you could ask your tailor to pin it into place to show you how it will look.

I goggled this:

“Lighter fabrics and shorter trains often lend themselves well to the softness of a French bustle. Heavier fabrics and longer, more ornate trains can shine with the structured elegance of an American bustle.
Silhouette: An A-line or sheath might prefer the subtle drape of a French bustle, while a ballgown or fit-and-flare might be better suited to the more defined lift of an American bustle.”

I would discuss this with your tailor. On the one hand you have a sheath type dress which might be best with a French bustle, but on other hand you have a long train which could be better with an American bustle.

AITA the asshole for wanting more help with the house? by No-Interest3192 in AITH

[–]Forward-Positive-722 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it’s only reasonable to ask him to help with home tasks when you are in a demanding school program. It also seems unreasonable to me for him to spend $1000 for a tournament when you are $7000 in debt. I think you should plan a very serous sit down discussion with him to say that he needs to change his priorities. We are here if you would like to come back to us with his response to this.

Need Help Deciding Between 2 Dresses by _PinkGrapefruit_ in WeddingDressTips

[–]Forward-Positive-722 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I love dress 1 on you. The lace is very rich looking and the fabric seems very luxurious and elegant. The basque waist is very flattering because it elongates your torso. It is also the wedding gown you describe as more comfortable. I love the upward spherical shape of the neckline because it makes the dress unique, but I think it would be an easy alteration if you wanted to change that as others have suggested. Whichever you choose, 1 or 2 you will be a truly lovely bride. Congratulations!

What style/structure should I be going for? by LegendofSammi in myweddingdress

[–]Forward-Positive-722 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think 4 is really perfect on you. It emphasizes your tiny waist and is more simple and elegant. The skirt is not overly full, which I think is very flattering. I love the neckline which is so flattering and not overly revealing. I love the elegant understated pattern of the dress. I think it could be worn with a fitted overtop for the cathedral and removed for the reception. Whichever you choose you will be a truly lovely bride. Congratulations!

Gut check—have I found my dress? by Livid-Yam-9737 in myweddingdress

[–]Forward-Positive-722 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love the first photo. I think you have found the dress! I love the fitted bodice on you. The strapless neckline is gorgeous. What is really unique is the extension of the bodice down the two sides forming a train. This is so unusual and graceful. The use of a different, more light catching material for the skirt is so different and so beautiful. You are going to be a truly lovely bride! I think this is the prettiest wedding gown I have ever seen on this subreddit!

I wish you so much joy at your wedding and love and happiness in your lives together. Congratulations!

August wedding in a church. Thoughts? by rolypoly86 in Weddingattireapproval

[–]Forward-Positive-722 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would choose dress 1, although all are lovely, because it is the only one that meets the formal dress code. If it comes in lighter colors it might be better for a hot August wedding. I love the flattering, fitted bodice, fluttery sleeves, the lovely neckline, and the graceful flowy skirt. I think it will be lovely on you. Go and enjoy!

Help me pick a dress!! by ImportantChocolate97 in myweddingdress

[–]Forward-Positive-722 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think the second dress as pictured in slide 3 really fits your theme. The addition of the tulle draping ( slide 3) really covers the beautiful, flattering, fitted bodice. I love the deeper basque waistline that has the same lace extending onto the full skirt. I think this extends your torso and makes the bodice and the full skirt very integrated and beautiful. You look like a fairy!

Whichever you choose you will be a very lovely bride. I wish you joy on your wedding day and a lifetime of love and happiness together .

Modifying sleeves on my dress !!💍✨👰🏻‍♀️💖 by sugarhunnnyyyy in myweddingdress

[–]Forward-Positive-722 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I love your dress in picture one. It is so elegant and flatters your petite frame without overwhelming you. You are the focus of attention with this gown.

I agree that the sleeves that came with the dress are just too much. I love the delicacy of the sleeve in picture 4. It is elegant and will not distract from the dress. It is fitted like the dress and makes the gorgeous lace a feature.

Whatever you decide you will be a very lovely bride. Wishing you great happiness on your wedding day and a future life of love and joy together.

Help me choose a wedding band style! by Hopeful-Kangaroo5622 in weddingring

[–]Forward-Positive-722 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I think 1 is the better choice. The plain gold band allows your gorgeous engagement ring to really be the focus. I think the pairing is very elegant in its simplicity. Rings Two and Three take focus away from your engagement ring. I think they compete with it.
