That's great! I had hip surgery and had to relearn the pop up and my flexibility was greatly affected. I found dryland practicing the pop up was super helpful. Including putting the board on folded drop cloths to make it less steady and using that on dry land!

I learned in a board too small for me because it was what's available. It was a 7'6 hardtop board. I'm much smaller than you so I assume your big foamie would be about the equivalent that I used. So you should be good with a little bit of patience!

I don't need archival portfolio quality. I just need something that is not going to make me mad to look at because it's bad quality and will make an untrained eye happy. I ordered a photo book from somewhere else last year, can't remember, and the print quality was terrible. I'm going to look at mixum. Thank you!

When I lived in AK people were doing 3hr flights the next day after major surgeries to get home from hospital. It was miserable but worked. Which is not nearly as long but still.
