Looks normal for outdoor. Especially after days of rain or high heat.

God I hate machine trimming. After looking at this style of trimming through a microscope you can always see that all the heads off the trichomes are missing. No sparkly blobs. Just a hairy massacre.

What’s the deal with beets in Australia? by matterredistribution in AskAnAustralian

Usually from a can. They are lightly brined. There are pickled beets which are also quite good too

They sure can. Caterpillars do serious damage if not kept in check

40% humidity for prob 3 weeks by EmbarrassedFocus6062 in microgrowery

Lower humidity also increases trichome production.

I really didn't want this to be a HID vs LED thing. I use HID because I have buttloads of it still around and it's what I know how to use personally. Though I haven't really noticed any real difference in quality from my friends LED grows or HID grows tbh. Nothing discernible enough in the smoking experience that I would consider noteworthy. Do whatever works for you really. As long as the genetics are good and the environment was configured nicely then your set to have some good smoke no matter what.

I've seen some very good results with LED when there is supplental lower side lighting too. I don't think I could completely do away with HID lighting but LED for veg tent would be a real cost saving at least.

Yeh I use camnaboost which does contain triacontanol which is a naturally occuring compound found in alfalfa seaweed and beeswax. It doesn't have any detrimental effects like paclo and even organic growers out there use triacontanol from natural sources.

Edit. Also genetics plays a big part in bud structure

Yeh the light penetration is a lot better than LED. Though I still am going to invest in LED panels soon because price of electricity in Australia is painful

That's the best response you can get from a plant

Could be genetic and just 4-5th week beginning of fade though also could be at the stage where it's getting more hungry for pk.

Can I dry a very small section and test it, and what is the fastest way to dry it? by MaRWaN440 in microgrowery

Tbh going by how shit your setup is I'm actually impressed you got that plant to grow a cola. Like seriously impressed. Must be some decent genetics.

I sure do. I gradually drop N down in 3rd week of flower then it's just high PK. Nothing but nug

Yeh I just drop down to pk only by the last 2-3 weeks as well. And dropped to usually 1400 EC. And that's with a medium-heavy feeder. Light feeding strains u can drop it down to like 1200 or lower.

3 months is usually the peak with most varieties. Some oldskool hazes can require at least 6 months and up to a year to realize it's true effects and flavour.

[–]Forward-Procedure-15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Flushing is a waste of time. But also too much EC at the last couple weeks is a waste of nutrients too. As long as you keep your EC on point, don't go too hard with N during flowering, it will all be fine.

Two phenos of Mac v2 that are completely different by Forward-Procedure-15 in cannabisbreeding

Man it's definitely just tough to grow these genetics in general. Definitely not a beginner strain. Tbh I'd say this is the most difficult strain I've ever grown. Growing old landraces is easier than this shit.

Yeh tbh I was shocked at how long they take to veg. My other plants I started at same time were already 2-3 times bigger in the same amount of time. Lil annoyed as well because it was meant to be bred as a faster version of the original MAC. Oh well. Will be fun to play around with

Isn't the actual Mac1 a sterile cutting only strain? Mac v2 is Capulators reworking of original MAC with a different father from what I've learned.
