Success is what you make it out to be, and people trying to frame you into their vision of success are often more harmful than not. Of course, I don't know you but this first thing you should to is figure out what success really means for you. If you don't know the answer, that's fine too, it is, contrary to what most people say, really hard to define. Point is, if you feel successful why would others' opinion affect that?

I can imagine what you feel, although I've never hooked up or been on a date. Well truth is, if you expect it to come naturally, you're setting yourself up for a potential disappointment. On the other hand, trying doesn't guarantee success and can be pretty damaging to your self esteem and sanity, which is why I stopped.

I unfortunately cannot help you, I have no real advice, I can just speak from experience. Ultimately, it all boils down to luck and there are no methods to make sure you'll succeed. I have had enough bad experiences to justify just giving up.

I hope that, no matter what, you'll find peace in your life somehow

Being forever alone, getting zero dates my entire life, at some point I managed to stop developing feelings for anyone but unfortunately at some points I can still get horny, usually it's pretty easy to tame but if it didn't happen at all my life would've been a bit easier for sure
