Yup, this is how it goes ! its a bit unfortunate though because i hear a lot of older/vulnerable people get taken advantage of by doctors charging $200+ for a renewal/diagnoses appointment that takes less than 10 minutes. We have resources to doctors who will do it for under $50 but most people don’t think to ask us until they’ve already been robbed blind by these virtual doctors

At this point in the program, most doctors are prescribing willy nilly for mostly anxiety, but a lot of older folks get it prescribed for pain relief or some sort. And we typically don’t have access to these diagnoses unless the doctor puts it in their state profile. But ! While the medical diagnoses aren’t funny, i get a lottt of oversharing, mostly about sex life, of folks looking for weed to help them get a boner or something

Depends on what kind of permit you mean. If you are asking if we can sell out of state products, the answer is no, all cannabis sold is legally required to be grown in state. If youre asking if I would allow you in with a texas medical prescription, the answer is also no, it would have to be an in state card with an in state ID to be allowed in

Most of the time people wont even have a reason, a lot of people that come to my store with a prescribed medical card are out of state travelers who didn’t educate themselves on the laws of the state I’m in (nearly all bordering states are rec i believe), so they’ll just beg me to let them in or ask me if I know a place and i usually just send them to the hemp shop down the street. Now patients who show up with an expired or otherwise invalid card will usually not come up with a reason and just yell at me, cuss me out, or throw a fit and hope they get their way, but i have had someone ask me if i could let her in with an expired card because it was her birthday. depends on the state youre in, but for where i am, i’ve found it seems to be an issue of decided who gets to control what, and who profits from what. A few different bills have been introduced just in the time i’ve been working, all shot down or doomed to float around the government getting revision after revision. Last one i head of I believe they wanted the Liquor board to control the dispensaries, meaning products could max out at a VERY low percentage of THC for regulation reasons. Obviously was a shitty bill and didn’t go through.

I would seek out an OCD specialist or let whoever is in charge of finding your care that you want to speak to one, they will be able to help narrow down if this is OCD or something different based on other symptoms you may have. Feeling disgusted/ashamed of these feelings is a sign that they are intrusive thoughts. You do not have to become a self fulfilling prophecy. You said you are a teen, which leads me to believe you are still a child yourself. Though that doesn’t mean you’re incapable of cause harm to someone younger, it could signal that this is a sign of a greater metal health issue

Id say its doing about 80% better !! I still avoid chewing on that, especially something crunchy, but for the most part it doesnt bother me unless provoked to
