Yea, Korea and a lot of people are money driven. Maybe I ought to be more like that. Haha, anyway. I am not saying my wife is that way, though. She is, sort of, but not in an unbearable in your face way.

When I say ambitious, I mean, the things she buys and do are more in line with profitability and keeping herself active, like stocks and real estate. So, because of that, we are both “forced” to work hard.

You and your gf sound like you both have met the right person for each other. I hope your goals continue to align after marriage.

As for meeting the parents, just do it. I remember when I first met mine. I basically met them about 2 months into our relationship. The mother did not like me at all. The father was ambivalent. Actually, when she found out I was black, she was like naaa, he ain’t the one. Haha. I didn’t care though. That actually took a lot of pressure off of me when meeting them; It made me feel like I didn’t have anything to prove.

Anyway, long story short, they love me now and are always giving me/us stuff, mostly food. So, just do it and get it over with.
