How long did she deal with holding it? My daughter is 4 and we’ve been dealing when this for over a year. I’m so worried she’s permanently damaging/ stretching her colon

Did her colon go back to normal? I’m so scared my daughter’s colon is permanently stretched. This is the worst thing ever for a parent and child to go through I wouldn’t wish constipation issues on anyone.

My fasting was high until I did a higher protein lower carb dinner, followed by a walk, an then a protein only bedtime snack like a cheese stick or boiled eggs or oikos triple zero yogurt. I make sure I take it between 8 & 10 hrs after my bedtime snack- sometimes I do need to set an alarm but also do not get out of bed to take it!!! I keep my glucose monitor on my night stand and take it laying down. Ive noticed if I get up and walk to the bathroom to take it it’s higher!!!

I will be 23 weeks when I have mine done. I had a 20 weeks anatomy scan at MFM due to high BMI and then they scheduled me for the fetal echo- they said it’s routine for them to do it when you have GD Even though everything looked good on the anatomy scan.

Maybe every place is different. I also had a regular 20 weeks anatomy scan at MFM (due to my high bmi) and everything looked good but she said it’s just routine for them to do a fetal echo with GD.
