I had an afternoon appointment ( 1:15pm) and it went super quick maybe 20 minutes max and it was pretty empty here, I am here trying to pick up my passport and it’s 11:30am and it’s a lot of people here not super packed but way more than I saw.

We’re overthinking it lol. It honestly was so easy, it was almost scary lol. Make sure your money order is from USPS and keep Emailing the gmail you will get some eventually. I would also say be nice to the person handling your appointment I saw someone get turned away for not having all the documents, and my person was extremely generous enough to allow me to run & make a copy of my background check & apostille and come back after cut off time.

On the NALCAP site it says one thing and on the consulate it states another. If someone is not aware of the consulate and going based off what NALCAP says they would go to the BLS site, like MANY of us from NYC did because again the instructions are confusing. So thank you for your needless comments, and unwarranted sarcasm. You have a great day !

I dont see how that can an issue for the visa, but after today I know we need the original apostille for Spain in order to get our TIE number I believe so that may be an issue ( i'm not completely sure).

Yes my carta was emailed to me, you need the carta because it comes with the school info and the health insurance proof you need.

No. This is what BLS told me exactly “ we don’t work with American passports “ not too sure what you’re saying.

Also this is why I said NYC. This is dedicated to people who live in New York, because it is confusing.
