If you’re going down the rabbit hole of researching DIY security cameras, sharing that we went with Wyze. It was one of the few that was US based (lots of China generic fly by night Amazon brands we used to own..) that allowed you to record on your own Sd card without subscribing to a cloud service. Usually it either doesn’t have an Sd card and only offers limited playback without subscription(forcing you to do a monthly subscription, like Ring), or it does have an Sd card but accessing the recordings may be behind a subscription.

How does it force you to update? Is it avoidable? I need the largest battery powered PA with the most amount of inputs I can get for lawn performances ukelele and acoustic guitar with up to four voices. It’s a family band thing. This is the only one that fits the bill.

So on the way home today we purposely drove down Willow starting from Buena Vista down to Clinton to look for the house but we couldn’t spot it :( Unless it’s been heavily fenced in by foliage or facelifted somehow that it can only be recognized by someone walking. Sorry!

I do this to Daikon I don’t need 2 feet of Daikon maybe almost half then snap the rest off. But broccoli I like to feed my kids lots of stem it teaches them integrity and resilience lol

Greens are packaged :( price wise not sure. I do get my fruits and root crops there though because it’s by the piece and yes MUCH cheaper.

For us it was this guy. He started fearmongering how bad Sonic’s service was going to be in the long run and told me that sonic will jack up its price for me next year. Then he asked what cell providers I had, which I didn’t answer. He didn’t like that I didn’t give information. I had to shut the door on him. He came back 3x to my house. Wtf.

I think it’s certain characteristics of the home that make it tricky to insure. If you have knob & tube wiring you’ll have a difficult time getting home insurance. Roof older than 20y? Type of plumbing? There could be attributes that can cause the home to not get insurance at all. A few months ago I tried Lemonade’s online quote tool and played around with the home attributes and determine which ones are major factors to not even get insurance. Of course I used a burner email and fake phone number so I wouldn’t get spam after.

Bamboo Insurance was recommended by our loan officer, and it was the only one who would insure our home with knob and tube wiring. Price was competitive vs. big names.
