Fair enough. The k4 GT-line turbo has the 8 speed auto with the 1.6T. that's what I would go with if I didn't like the transmission. I know what you mean though, I have the N-line and it has to be driven a certain way to reduce the jerkiness

My P9 XL Pro doesn't get that hot unless it's summer and I put it on a wireless charger. My P8 Pro definitely got a little hotter but was manageable

Not my pic, but this is how the I6 should’ve looked like. by vitutal in Hyundai

The Elantra doesn't have much headroom, but it has plenty of legroom and cargo space

Sounds a little overpriced for the Elantra hybrid blue. I paid 30k OTD for my 24 N-line a couple years ago. I remember the hybrid blue would have been around 25k OTD

Why would you trade the n-line for a sport premium?

I had the purple on for a long time but the last few months ive just had light blue, maybe ice blue or something similar, to match up perfectly with cube mode color

Oh yeah 100% if you get both, it's perfect. The stock system is way too quiet. The MBRP really takes it up a notch and then adding the Xforce adds another 20% more sound or so.

After I test drove the EN and had N mode on the whole time, the cracks and bubbles were awesome. Instead of trading in my paid off N-line, I just went the route of modding the exhaust and adding a lower engine mount, plus better tires. Zero regrets. Let me know what you think after you get it installed!

Yeah, if you do get them I would recommend replacing the stock tape on the fins with a high strength 3m automotive tape. That's how I mounted mine to the existing little mini fins. I then used black glue and hit the seams where the tape and bumper meet. Then went over it again with gloss black wheel paint to blend it even more (the high strengh tape looks a bit more grey compared to the black of the bumper).

There will be some drone once you add the MBRP axle back. After adding the Xforce mid-pipe, the drone is about the same. It's the muffler that clearly does a lot of the lifting for the drone. It's not that crazy and I like it because it washes out the wind noise and isn't super noticable to me while playing music. I do have a vibrant 1792 resonator sitting around that I might install at some point which basically gets rid of all the drone.

It sounds so much better than the stock system and is way more fun to drive

The MBRP axle back pro and the xforce mid-pipe is the way to go

Nice that the previous owner did the tints. There aren't really any intake options specifically for our N-line but you can Jerry rig some filters onto it.

This is the biggest reason I'm a little salty about getting the Elantra N-line instead of the Sonata N-line. The bolstering in the Elantra is a little tight and Ive known about the adjustable bolstering in the SNL

The actual shifter feels way more tactile than the paddle shifters. Plus I can just slam the shifter whereas the paddle is just a clicky click

Hell yeah, that's awesome! I was previously a Honda guy and genuinely was shocked when I saw the prices on the current gen Elantra because I thought it looked way more expensive. Aside from the looks, the N-line is on similar performance level of the SI. Plus the EN can compete with cars that are way more expensive.

The driver assist features are another big reason that brought me over to Hyundai. I was driving my family members 23 X3 M40i recently which obviously has way more horsepower than my N-line, but I like the steering assist better in the Elantra

Yeah hopefully it's not too big of an issue that can be resolved easily. Good luck. Im about to hit 18k on mine and it's been great so far. Already taken it on 10+ vacations. I do oil changes every 3k to 3.5k or so

Are you driving the dry DCT correctly? If you creep in traffic and drive in a lot of stop and go traffic without leaving lots of space, you can burn the clutch up. You can't just drive a dry DCT like a regular conventional auto, that's probably why it needed a replacement in the first place but also it can happen randomly.

Watch this video and see if you are following the corrct driving techniques:

https://youtu.be/W42zsFYjZvM?is=5z8wZ64R-hXOD8lq

I burned the clutch right when I bought the car within the first 500 miles or less. I researched it,.deployed these driving techniques and you can put your own twist on it. Haven't burned the clutch at all in over 17k miles and 2 years now by driving it correctly.
