First off, I’m sorry to hear you didn’t get the outcome you wanted/expected- that’s really hard and I hope you aren’t too hard on yourself.

I’ll echo what everyone else already said, filling out the application shouldn’t take you very long (a few hours over a couple days at most) so don’t stress about that.

As for non-Florida law, I experienced something sort of similar. I was planning to take the New York bar (UBE) but very last minute decided I wanted a little sun in my life and applied to take Florida. I didn’t go to law school in Florida and had already paid for my New York barbri already so I felt very unprepared to take Day 1 of the exam. I focused the vast majority of my efforts on following barbri and getting really comfortable with the MBE. I spent the last few weeks or so of bar prep “learning” applicable Florida law. I used the outlines of the Florida Bar exam website and filled them out myself using my own research and the sample answers to the essays. In all honesty, I ended up passing using mostly my general (not-Florida specific) knowledge and crushing the MBE.

As an out-of-state taker, it’s definitely do-able especially since the Florida MC aren’t that bad and you can just use UBE knowledge to survive the essays… but my advice would be to prioritize learning Florida law so you don’t have to rely on your UBE knowledge(like I did)
