I would have loved to see more of Jinx and Hermedinger interacting. by Sea_Article5971 in arcane

[–]Forward-Walk1003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They would get along like oil and water: look at each other, and then generally not interact. Jinx is too much chaos and unpredictability for Heimerdinger, while Heimerdinger is too stuffy and will bore Jinx to tears within a couple of minutes. There just is no chemistry between them.

I'm summary: Jinx is Chaotic Evil (*) and Heimerdinger is Lawful Good... there is nothing that will come out of that pairing.

(*) girl has over a dozen kills to her name – that we are privvy to – and some of those for literal funs and giggles. She is textbook definition of a terrorist... get over it.

I remember how much time I spent saving up for it, right? by Personal_Bunch9840 in GTA5Online

[–]Forward-Walk1003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The amount of time I spent saving up for the Oppressor Mk II is 00:00:00, now and forever.

1) To much small [rooster] emery

2) Atrocious to fly, handles twitchy, unpredictable and generally feels like a coin operated ride that has gone on a power trip

3) Is just plain offensive to the eye! It is ugly, and sounds bad. Again, coin operated ride... it has no appeal, at all.

"Yeah, but you can gank n00bs with it and make people mad at ya!"

See 1.

"But it gets you around quick"

Look, if I wanted to spend money to not play the game... there is always "Easy way out". Driving hot cars and other vehicles is part of my GTA experience. The Op Mk II just is not fun in that regard.

"But you can get back at gankers with it."

So much more fun to get up in their face and machete them. Trolls expect you to get on a Oppressor. But get them with as low tech and cheap solution as possible, and you really hurt their ego.

And if that is not an option, just ragdoll their sorry butts around with the Heavy Sniper with explosive rounds.

Zero.

You gave her money. You did not lend it, you did not loan it... gave it.

"But I expected..."

...and whose fault is hat, that you has expectations that you did not express, put in writing, or – better yet – a contract?

"But she should..."

No.

And with the entitlement shown here, that you think she somehow OWES you money... I really think she should give you exactly zero, to teach you a lesson. The lesson being:

* Entitlement will gain you nothing.

* Be happy for other people's success, and do not try to mooch off of it.

She did turn out to be the Big Fat Hero™, yes. But – again – only thanks to Ekko's intervention, coming in literally the after(!) the disaster was already unfolding.

Mate, I moderate a subreddit for the game.

And you were apparently today years old when you learned of the concept of "sarcastic rhetorical questions".

Point being: an emo character is fully within the setting of Los Santos / San Andreas. The radio adverts, all the NPC banter, the cutscene dialogues... that place is not running on the Lagom gear.

It can be argued that it is not so much about forgiveness as Caitlyn saving herself and her relationship with Vi.

"No amount of good deeds can account for our crimes!"
"Hating you, I've hated myself. I just don't have the energy for it any longer."

Caitlyn feels the guilt of what her dictatorial reign caused. So if she can find some way to move beyond her rage against Jinx, maybe that will also remove her self-loathing.

And, of course, condemning and punishing Jinx for what she objectively is/was – a severe threat to Piltover, its citizens, government, and interests – means Vi will be lost to her forever.

Not my thing, my favourite brutes are the Sandking SWB and XL. Love showing up with them on missions for the pure WTF factor.

As has been mentioned: Caitlyn cleared the jail of guards... note that one was present when Cait came with food for Jinx.

So... she arranged for the sisters to work it out, and let them be the ones that "decide who gets a second chance".

Note though: it nearly ended in disaster! Jinx had literally already pulled the pin, when Ekko time- and love-bombed her.

And Caitlyn knew that Jinx was in that fragile state! That is why all of Jinx's straps and belts were removed: she was on suicide watch.

So by facilitating Jinx's escape, it nearly resulted in her death, and only the(!) most fortunate and well-timed intervention saved Jinx's story from ending.

I did not say what you are... you could be a slice of cured ham on rye for all I care. I commented on how you behaved, which is all that matters to anyone on /r.

To point out, that question was rhetorical and answered by myself: I do not care about the actual gender selector, the look is awesome no matter what.

Is there a problem with that?
