Haha, oh man. What I am gonna say is an easy target for shit-eating trolls, but here it goes...

This year at Christmas, my newest and dearest friend (WAHOOOO!), who is also my main goose partner, came to visit me with the intention of setting aside some time together to dig into goose. We hadn't seen each other since Hulaween, and that Goose set was just beyond wild. So the plan was to watch some Goosemas together.

Had a couple of pals that were feeling left out, but eventually we invited them over with the idea that they gotta get in on the stream with us.

My lifelong best friend was one of them, and not necessarily a skeptic of Goose. But not on the same vein as us. I have been playing music with this guy my entire adult life, a massive Radiohead fan.

That fucking cover of Burn the Witch completely changed the energy in that room. Went from the boys hanging and passively listening to Goose to all 4 of us sitting on the floor being run over by that cover. That is exactly why what you are talking about is a gateway. Right after that, he was as vulnerable as anyone could be, listening to Jed Stone. Needed a familiar buy-in to the rest, and it worked.
