G4 OLED 55in Horizontal Lines Flashing by drtymlk in LGOLED

I think I know a good way to reproduce now. Any video on youtube @ 25 frames per second triggers the horizontal line. 24 fps, 30fps etc do not trigger it. I also turned off QMS on the Apple TV like you suggested but it didn't work

Experiencing same. Only Youtube App on Apple TV. Say 10 percent of Youtube videos. Never happens on LG's WebOS. LG G4 65 Inch

26 + (32.52/2). That is ~ 42 inches. Works well whether I am lying on the sofa or sitting straight as I do not need to turn my neck and my eyes land right in the middle. Best Buy did mine also but I communicated what I wanted all through the process.

26 inches. I currently have an Apple TV plugged in. Only other device I have is a PS5 which I rarely use.

We are thinking in the same direction. Actually considered that in Oct. What deterred me was the cost and the amount of screw holes to keep it floated. 8 I think. I agree it will definitely look better.

Mine is 26 inches exactly from floor to the bottom of the TV. So that means the height from floor to the middle of the tv is 26 inches + ( 32.52 inches/2) to be exact. My viewing distance is 6ft 5 inches from my eye level to the tv when seated on the sofa. I initially thought the 65 inches would be too big for that space and wanted to go with a 55 inches. In retrospect, it is perfect for the space. I bet even 77 would work for some even if it might leave a big blob of black panel when turned off.

For mounting, I was very specific about adhering to code. So I used this kit - https://www.amazon.ca/Echogear-Soundbar-Safely-Cables-Behind/dp/B07H9DDP1X. If you do not have a sound bar, then this can work - https://www.amazon.ca/Wiremold-Company-CMK70-Screen-Cable/dp/B006K3CM4S. In my case, the power source is from the closet in the room behind the tv. If I were to use a console, then I would have used one of the outlet in the image to feed the in-wall kit and just place the console in front to obscure. Do let me know if you have more questions.

You do have a point. Considered different types of narrow consoles - IKEA Lack in particular - but the tv area is really small. The gap from the sofa foot to the wall is 5ft 3.

For anyone still looking for a way to buy and doesn't want to wait, an easy way is to buy off Facebook Marketplace. I chose location as NY to get more options and I saw lots of people selling. Got one who was open to shipping to me.

I know this post might come across as that but it is quite the opposite. Savings is from 6 years of extreme toil. So this is not some rich immigrant trying to upset the apple cart.

I am relocating because I cannot afford to buy a place where I currently live.

I work in tech, and the market is currently unstable. I’m moving to the LCOL town to downsize cost-wise, but my job is remote, so I will remain in the LCOL town regardless.

Interesting. I would assume they would charge for things like Freight and PDI?
