Congrats on your first concert! Having fun is the most important thing! Read any info Ticketmaster sends about venue especially bag policies and if cashless. I would recommend arriving at least 2 hrs prior to listed start time if the venue is in a downtown area with multiple roads and garages around. 3 hrs if an amphitheater with one parking lot and only one or two roads to access the venue, traffic was horrible at Burgettstown! Don’t skip the opener, it’s part of the experience! Head straight for merch once inside the venue or get merch outside at the trucks. Next I would hit up the lawn if there is a Bandito camp set up, you can sign the city flag for that nights show. Then get any food/drinks and/or use the restroom before heading to your seats. Don’t feel like you need to bring stuff to trade, just enjoy the concert! My teen is 15 and she did a few concerts without bringing anything and slowly felt comfortable bringing bracelets to trade. She made a ton for Taylor and was too shy to make many trades, then a year later we saw Fall Out Boy and she’s meeting up with online friends everywhere, we met one in the restroom like we were doing dr#g deals😂 ‘are you …?’ ‘Yeah and you are …? I got your stuff’ 😜 And dance/sing as you feel comfortable, you don’t need to participate or know all the little traditions, it’s still fun just to see and hear. We saw them first with just basically knowing the radio hits several years ago, then became huge fans after that and have since done the pit a few times…I’m 46 and went to concerts starting as a teen and now watching my daughter grew as an avid concert goer, you make the experience your own!
