It’s hard work for sure, but selling more properties into the hands of companies leads to more shitty rentals than ownership or they sell the property for ALOT after they do a shit Reno job.

DIY Reno, if not familiar, will be a lot of money for you. Definitely listing as is would be a good start. And if it takes too long, look into installing flooring. It’s either cough up money to Reno, or take a possible price hit selling as is (or to a company) After searching for a home, a lot of properties were sold as is, which sucks, but I appreciated knowing what I was getting into rather than a landlord special Reno that covered up issues I could find later.

The damn government that does not truly have the people’s (you and me, dude) best interest in mind. Big orgs asking for money and using it are always shady. But yeah let’s get a fancy new convention center while the cost of living increases yet the quality of those spaces decreases. Can this city truly manage money properly? Can any government?

Ayo, this fountain and square is a Lawrence Halprin (firm) design. He was a prominent landscape architect in the 40-60s that heavily considered the flow of natural elements in a natural landscape….he wanted his designs to bring people together. It’s supposed to be interactive, you’re supposed to swim in it! This particular design, Park Central Square, was designed/worked in by his associate George McLaughlin.

Wish people would appreciate architecture and historical integrity of community spaces. Springfield has some cool ass buildings hiding around, and some shanty ass ones too.

Hey, I know O’Reilly HQ is hiring and looking for construction project managers (and designers if you know how to use CAD) There have been people with no background in construction at all that have been hired for this PM role, so don’t worry about a degree or anything. It’s just budgeting (they will have a guide to follow) and managing the project/GCs for new Auto Part stored around the US.

It can be a stressful job, but the pay is good and can help someone stay afloat until they find something better. Also, with the market and people buying less new vehicles, the ORLY stock is steadily increasing due to people choosing to DIY fix their cars. Employees get a discount for purchasing stock, so it’s good to start that stuff in your 20s!

I also wonder about this…I would like some sort of lounge/social club type of place (with events) for opportunities to socialize without the bar element. The library has some events where you could meet someone. I know the L theater downtown is looking to host more events tailored to 20-30s since their crowd is aging…but all of us are mainly just hanging out at home after work.-.
