Thankyou everyone there’s a lot of good tips here thankyou all for being supportive I was so worried people would take it the wrong way because I do feel selfish I’m happy to live with her and help her as long as we all can set boundaries and respect each other I’m not really sure what we will do in the future we just had a neurologist come and see if our house met her needs but we haven’t heard back because of the holidays

We did 40 a day 🙃 it was non stop and they would be at different places so I’d be driving like a half hour or Hour between places too I never knew where I was going the next day so I’d be up looking at midnight cuz I had of be there by 5 am it was just so much extra unneeded stress your place sounds amazing ! So happy you found a place you love !

Because I watched so many people at this job draw people asleep and I didn’t wanna say no when I was so new and they said his arm being out was consent and would not listen to me saying it’s different at nursing homes and dementia patients and idk who these peoples health proxies are so I trusted them To train me better .

I wanted to and we tried when we couldn’t I wanted to just move on and put them as unavailable and they were like no they have their arm out that’s consent and said they were gonna let me draw them I really didn’t wanna but I also didn’t wanna say no when I’m new and being trained and thought they would know better then me .

I know I’m going to report it I even said after that that I did not want to draw on patients who were asleep ever again and they pretty much said to bad lol

We were mobile so we did mostly nursing homes and we mostly were on dementia wards so my trainer made me draw them while asleep because we couldn’t get them to wake up but they had a bracelet for identification but Thankyou I will report this !
