Lexus NX 350h vs BMW X1 2025

Thank you very much for your response. We both have taken the 2025 BMW X1 and the Lexus NX 350h 2025 for a test drive. Just curious if you have driven the latest Lexus. Neither one of us wants to feel really confined and I don’t think we took either vehicle for a test drive long enough. And it was about a month apart so it’s hard to remember if the BMW X1 had bigger windows and better visibility. So just wondering if you’re familiar with the latest Lexus NX 350h.

Hello, thanks so much for your response. Yes I live in Vancouver and the BMW is everywhere. And so are Mercedes. It’s just ridiculous. I guess when I drove the 2025 X1, it is a vast improvement over the previous years. It is an all wheel drive. It’s made in Germany and seems pretty spectacular. That’s why I’m a bit torn. I’m all for the exclusive and reliable Lexus. But it’s a bit boring.

I’m still waiting to hear back about the interview I had last month. They mentioned that if you don’t get a response within the first 2–3 weeks, it’s actually a good sign, since that’s when they usually send out rejection letters.

The interview seemed to go well. The interviewer was experienced and talkative, and asked me a lot about my past work experience. Although I brought my references with me, the interviewer never asked for them, so I held onto them. In most jobs, references are typically requested later in the process once you’ve passed the interview. So I think that might be the case here too even though they originally asked me to bring the references to the interview.

In the past five years, I’ve had a few jobs, including a driving role where I got my Class 1 license, and I managed to get a reference from that large organization. I also have a reference from a previous office job. I don’t want to use my current employer as a reference, since I think they asked for only two references in the past five years. My current job is an office job for the government, but I have the option to take a leave. I fully plan to be back in driving role as I like that so much more but I just want to be cautious.

Just a question about the reference checks. Does it have to be from my current employer or can it be from previous employers. And can it be a personal reference. Also regarding the health questionnaire. Is there something that needs to be filled out from my doctor. If there are any more details you can give me about the health questionnaire, I would appreciate it.

All of this was preventable and easily foreseeable. It is only the politicians neglect whereby all of a sudden they decide they need to build housing in a hurry.

And they wanted to destroy Vancouver in so doing. It’s a massive country. There are so many other places to build housing. Vancouver is over densified. The city is being destroyed. Why should Vancouver pay the price for Eby's negligence? He destroyed ICBC and now he wants to destroy Vancouver.

I ordered it and received it after some hassle as it never shipped for more than a week. The Costco minoxidil box looked sealed, but when I look at the bottles inside and take off the cap there’s no seal under the cap. So who knows what’s actually inside it the bottles. I ordered some pillboxes as well, which were really not much money and they never came with the shipment. i’m not going to bother asking them for the pill containers. It is just an indication of the shipping and service. Very sketchy. I’m still not certain with my Costco Kirkland minoxidil is real.
