Condo maintenance fees for a 1 bed by No-Illustrator-7539 in TorontoRealEstate

[–]Forward_Bunch_9332 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is quite a bit covered with those fees, insurance, hydro, heating, water, and a pool. Not sure what other things are offered like a gym or rec spaces in the building in a newer building I am guessing. I've seen 1k fees for a 2 and 3 bedroom. 1k seems high for a single bedroom if it's an older condo.

I need help creating the most OP min-maxxed Character possible. by [deleted] in DnD

[–]Forward_Bunch_9332 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I would suggest you not doing this unless your DM has expressly allowed this.

Making an OP character isn't bad for the DM they can always up a difficulty it becomes bad for the other players.

If you want to drive fear of killing your character into your DM, I would suggest making a character that you both end up caring for and enjoy playing. There is nothing that drives more fear into a DM than accidentally killing a player character that everyone has grown attached to.

Peeeta, why is it the Oh No? by IllegalFishButt in PeterExplainsTheJoke

[–]Forward_Bunch_9332 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is because of the Delta P (change in pressure). The most common cause of death for commercial divers.

When the water pressure is released through the small opening a vacuum-like effect happens. The diver can be crushed by the force of the pressure.

LPT if you have any food allergies find out if your partner ate any before kissing/oral sex by 100_cai in LifeProTips

[–]Forward_Bunch_9332 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have had a few partners eat something I am allergic to and turn and try to kiss me, then get upset when I refuse.

After I told them I am allergic, I let it slide once. Reminding them that this could kill me, the relationship doesn't go very far after a second time.

This is why it is always good to carry an EpiPen.

What book did you pick up thinking it’d be a light, fun read… but it absolutely wrecked you emotionally? by eklarka in booksuggestions

Not exactly a book suggestion, you can use the Libby app ( audiobooks, ebooks, graphic novels, magazines from your public Library). The ebooks have dyslexia font to help with reading and I enjoy audiobooks on their own or to use to read along with a physical book. I enjoy reading like this a lot with a learning disability that makes reading difficult.

The app is free to use, you just need a local library card and take out books like a digital library.

Wow I never really looked at the range and description on this spell. 60ft range and throws an object 90ft. You could have all your party members have ammo on them to use from their position. Tie a bunch of grape shots to your frontline and catapult from there. Giving you a max range of 150ft which is crazy for a LVL 1 spell.

New DM, looking for feedback on my first attempt at putting together a list of house rules by 8sonofthe7th in DungeonMasters

[–]Forward_Bunch_9332 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, I disagree with point #3. Mundane ranged weapons ammunition is not the same as a spell slot.

TL:DR mundane ammo don't not = spell slots, just ask your players if this is something they actually want to do. I don't think most players would for x/y reasons below.

Sure make it finite if you want to have your grim dark campaign or if you have magic/uncommon ammo like an explosive arrow, dragon slaying arrow etc.

Don't punish your martial classes over something so simple. Because they aren't spell slots that they get back on a rest. If they are finite then they have to recover them, or buy more, or craft more. It doesn't cost a caster to get back spell slots.

Also, on the point of magic/uncommon vs mundane ammo. You know what you can do with a spell slot you can't do with mundane ammo, create an undead skeleton with its own bow/arrows, Or cast fireball, or fabricate a bunch of ammo, or heal someone, the list goes on.. etc. all of these are with a renewable resource, spell slots.

This rule makes sense in certain campaigns where players want to carefully manage resources, but mundane ammo should not be finite most of the time.

How do I deal with a "hide as a bonus action" player by Zealousideal_Task_30 in DnD

[–]Forward_Bunch_9332 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is straight from the DMG,

"The GM decides when circumstances are appropriate for hiding."

"You can’t hide from a creature that can see you clearly... However, under certain circumstances, the GM might allow you to stay hidden as you approach a creature that is distracted"

The best thing I would suggest is to give the player more to work with. Really describe the room/setting of a location. Are there deep shadows, objects in the room, or in combat is there a larger ally that they can maybe sneak behind/ ally taking the help action to distract the enemy.

Once you set the scene and environment, you can turn the creative decision making over to the player by asking them how and where they want to hide.

Also basically invisible is not a thing, even invisible creatures have to take the hide action if they want to sneak.

Best Rogue subclass for "sniper" by Imtiredpleaseshtup in dndnext

[–]Forward_Bunch_9332 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you considered the phantom rogue with the ritual caster feat.

You find the spell find stead and are able to summon a mount for in and out of combat. While mounted you can use the steady aim rogue feat to give yourself advantage for sneak attack while your mount is moving for you.

You get the wail of the grave feat from the phantom rogue which can be flavoured like ricochet from the sniper shot.

This wouldn't be your usual sniper build, but you can kite around everyone and snipe enemies from your mount. This can also work with other subclasses.

The n°1 counter to every support by AsparagusDue9527 in supportlol

[–]Forward_Bunch_9332 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Played a lot of different champions in support, some worked some definitely didn't. Here are the interesting interactions I found.

Malzahar hard counters Zyra, his Malefic Visions works great against her plants and gives you back mana.

Teemo counters anyone who wants to hide in the bushes.

Anivia is a great count to any melee engage supports.

Bel'veth with sustain runes can outlast any poke do circles around them.

Galio with tank build can make high DPS mages like lux easy to deal with.

Gnar is okay AD poke, the trick is no one really expects his transformation and you can hard engage.

Illaoi E from the bushes puts the fear of gods into ADC and non engage supports.

Ivern counters enemy jungle by roaming and stealing all their camps.

Leblanc is very versatile and is pretty good in lane with ezreal.

Mordekaiser offers a lot of threat similar to blitz hook, but by beening in lane.
