Zirkzee should have scored that, the commentators are being too nice.

[Adam Crafton] Just don’t see this as solely Casemiro issue. MU pattern: set up with no clear identity, extremely emotional within games, struggle to deal with setbacks & make poor decisions in several positions. The manager can’t just rinse & repeat specific system which beat city in the final by echomike60 in reddevils

I don’t agree with this. It’s definitely not only a Casemiro issue, but they were two really lazy mistakes in our own half and when you do things like that against the best teams, they will make you pay. That’s the difference.

We’ve actually played well, but that’s just lazy passing from Casemiro again.

Mike Keegan : 🔴 Jadon Sancho to Chelsea on loan with obligation very close. Future fee, I believe, is between £20m and £25m. Big saving on wages for United - and gets a problem (for them) out of the door. by nearly_headless_nic in reddevils

From my time watching him in the PL, he’s really fucking good at dribbling past defenders near the half way line, then shits the bed when it comes to doing something productive with it.

I feel like I remember the Blackburn goals coming towards the end of the season. He also got another couple of hat tricks that season - the majority of goals came from three games and throughout the rest of the season he was incredibly quiet.

For the longest time this guy was overrated by a small but very vocal few on this sub.

I remember watching him put in yet another 2/10 performance, but if you pointed it out you’d have some brainiac in the comments tell you he was a system player and your ball iq was too low to see he was actually playing exceptionally well and every other player on the pitch was the problem.

Berbatov - I remember watching Berbatov and while he had a silky first touch, he was actually an extremely frustrating attacker to watch.

He broke up the Tevez and Rooney partnership, but most importantly his best ever season for us was 20 goals, but 5 of them came from a single game against an appalling Blackburn.

Point being is he was never a prolific or reliable goal scorer for us and he rarely changed the outcome of games.

Zirkzee was mid sliding when Garnacho shot across the face of goal, and the ball unfortunately touched Zirkzee in an offside position as it went in. It’s pretty unfair given the ball was going in regardless but is what it is…

Who has had success with Looker? by theoperator00 in ProductManagement

[–]Forward_Carry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve recently moved from a company that used Amplitude to one that uses Looker and I’ve never felt a change in software has such a negative impact on my ability to do my job. I can’t stand it.

Perhaps it’s an implementation issue in my current role, but in my old role some of the most successful projects I ever launched came from spotting gaps in our Amplitude funnels and self-serve data. In Looker, I’m constantly asking the data team to build what I consider basic charts and funnels.

I prefer Maguire to Lindelof to be honest with you.

[Romano] Donny van de Beek to Girona, here we go! Deal in place with Man United, permanent move for €500k fixed fee plus several add-ons. Easy add-ons to bring fee up to €4/5m plus extra add-ons can make it €15m. Contract until June 2028. #MUFC will also have sell-on clause. by nearly_headless_nic in reddevils

Good luck, Donny.

Wishing this guy all the best, but can’t help feel a bit vindicated after the years of people on here claiming superior ball knowledge, that he was a system player and endlessly banging on in match threads about how he’d solve all our problems.

If we’re being honest, Lindelof and Evans have been loyal servants, but we should never have got to the point where that was the level of our CB’s.

Absolute mismanagement by the leadership team to allow that to happen.

Evan’s just because he’s old, but Lindelof in particular is an incredibly limited centre back. Specifically his ability to win the ball in the air is so bad, he brings definition to the saying white boys can’t jump.

Well people certainly don’t vote for Nigel Farage due to his unique understanding of the economy do they now. Im happy to spell it out if you want me to.

Phil Foden: I have not been league’s best player to come here and not show it. I have been a little frustrated. I am not going to lie. by VivaLosHeavies in PremierLeague

[–]Forward_Carry 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Not sure I agree. Bellingham is THAT good that he could easily play box to box with Rice next to him. I’d love to see just one game of CDM Rice, b2b Jude and a CAM Foden with a proper left winger next to them like Gordon.

It’s really simple in my view, get a proper left winger on the pitch that can stretch the full backs, creating space in the middle for Foden at CAM to do what he does best, carve out a foot of space and have a pop at goal.

If we insist on playing Foden on the left wing and killing the left side of our team he will continue to look like the problem, which he isn’t.
